First I want to say thanks for the prayers I so appreciate the ones I had a chance to read before my question got deleted for "posting content against the yahoo question and answer rules and guidelines." Merely to adhere to these rules, I must actually state a question, **so my question is who reported me for asking for prayer and why?** Thanks again for your prayers and just to let you know, they weren't wasted, in less than 24 hours after I asked for prayer, my prayers were answered! Praise God!

From my conversations with different believers from just about all Christian denominations, quite a feel that only they have the true religious teachings.

The bible teaches that to be a Christian one must follow Jesus example as best as they can. Can I get your feedback? I would very much appreciate it.

In relation to the film the Exorcism of Emily Rose vs One flew over a kookoos nest, I am curious to know how many people have turned away from psychiatry because of its history. Every doctor I've ever talked to told me psychiatry isn't an exact science and that psychiatry is based more upon hypothesis than fact. What is your view?

How do you define morality (personally and in society)?
What morals are "relative" and which ones are not?
What's wrong with questioning morality (any more
than improving any other skill - say basketball, tennis)
Why do people take it so personally - especially if it is "relative"?
It must be very important - so
What is the morality of morality?

Another question sparked my interest in this. I am an Atheist, but that doesn't mean I'm not curious about what people of religion believe and think about certain topics. With that, for those who believe or even those who want to add their own useful input, I ask:

Do you really think that God loves everyone? Have you ever considered that you beleive he loves you only to make yourself feel better, or have you considered the fact that God may not like you, and may very well hate some of us?

Who's to say that God loves you or anyone?

I'm not antagonizing anyone, just putting it out there. If there were a God, which many of you beleive there was, wouldn't more prayers be answered if he loved everyone? Wouldn't more things be done on his part, since he's omnipotent and can do whatever he wants?

I remember when they came out. She was my idle and copied her looks and could because I'm Native American, had long hair and her age. When she had the bump taken out of her nose I thought it took from her looks, because, I think she's beautiful and certainly represents us to the highest level. What do you think!

I asked a man on the bus to switch seats, since I feel more comfortable sitting on the right side & awkward on the left side. & he said, "Why?!" with an attitude, so I said, "You didn't have to be rude." & he said, "How was I being rude?" I said, "Nevermind." Then he got off the bus & was pointing & laughing @ me, & he told his friend that I'm crazy. & then, on the way back from WalMart, he was sitting on the left side, & the right side was empty, & so he saw me coming & hurried up & sat on the right side so I couldn't sit there, & he had this, "I dare you to tell me something" type of look on his face. That was the right side of the bus in the back seat & the bus was cold in the front. But I feel awkward sitting on the left side, since I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. & then, he got off @ the stop after I got on. That was totally uncalled for if he KNEW he was about to get off the bus. So I finally got to sit there after he left when I was on my way home.

I've noticed Pentecostals, Johovoahs Witness, Mormons and some others have people that aren't to freindly and a little distant. They seem to act like they're better or judgemental, why cause I'm not part of the group? Didn't Jesus teach love and compassion? Didn't he eat with prostitutes and sinners? Why would I ever want to go to those churches?

"Top 10 Atheist Myths"?

http://humanists.net/avijit/article/top_10_atheist_myths.htm

I am especially interested in your views on #1 and #5.

Myth 1 : "Atheists are all the same"

Myth 5 : "Atheists seek to remove religion from society, and to force all
people to be atheists"

#1

If you say that all atheists aren't the same, then why do some of you think that Christians are all the same? We aren't!

Thanks for your respectful responses.

I need an excuse on why I choose to not drink any alcholoic beverages. I feel that it is a drug, a crutch, is extremely dangerous, and can have a perfectly good time without it. I like being in control of my body, and that is why I don't drink. However, when people I barely know ask me why I don't drink, etc.: what should I say that is short and sweet and gets the job done, without giving them a sermon and handing out pamphlets, therfore making them uncomfortable about their drinking habits.
