First I want to say thanks for the prayers I so appreciate the ones I had a chance to read before my question got deleted for "posting content against the yahoo question and answer rules and guidelines." Merely to adhere to these rules, I must actually state a question, **so my question is who reported me for asking for prayer and why?** Thanks again for your prayers and just to let you know, they weren't wasted, in less than 24 hours after I asked for prayer, my prayers were answered! Praise God!

Captian Janeway...two things. First, no this isn't a prayer request website, but I was in the religion and spirituality section so I am allowed to ask religion and spiritual based questions. Second, if you don't like my questions, don't read them! Duh... You aren't obligated to answer every question on the site. My question was directed to believers so if you aren't one, don't read my question.

I'm glad your prayers were answered.
all of us have suffered violations, and more have suffered for prayer requests than probably anything.

Captain J, I'm sorry, but R&S is a community, not just a question and answer board. When my father was hospitalized and passed away 2 weeks ago, I turned to my R&S friends for fellowship and support through prayer. I got it and many many emails from participants who wished to support me. There were additional questions and support posted while I was away for his funeral. THAT is community! and yet all the questions and comments for my concern were deleted AND I lost my account for simply for asking for prayer. Yahoo may WANT to have this board as strictly a Q&A, but it isn't. It's a community and communities thrive on fellowship, not annonimity - whether they like it or not.

blessings :)

They don't respect that prayer works and it is the Christian way of supporting each other. They feel "obligated" to report something that they feel is against the rules, but it just their way of saying that they don't think that prayer requests are real enough to be on here.

Thank God that your prayers were answered!

everybody gets reported here. valid questions that I have asked have been reported, and I have no idea why.
Everybody gets targeted: atheists, Christians, Muslims, etc.

I only report the really offensive stuff.

while i sympathise with your situation, if you make such requests here, what else do expect. this isn't a christian prayer request website, in fact i find it very offensive that you would ask this.

if praying makes you feel better than that's fine, but please don't push your insecurities and methods of obtaining comfort from imaginary acts and gods onto others.
