I've long considered myself a pantheist, and recently have been drawn by some of the ideas of Wicca. It seems to make a lot of sense to me, as long as I view 'magic' as a power that humans exert, that expresses itself within the laws of physics.

But is this a correct Wiccan view of magic? Is magic supposed to work within nature as we see it, or do Wiccans see magic as a force operating outside of our normal view of the world?

I have a hard time believing in things like moving objects with my mind. Is that the sort of thing a Wiccan considers magic?

Catholics say do not eat meat on Fridays, and in some other religion they consider the cow sacred. Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in blood transfusions, Scientologists say that psychiatrists and psychiatry are evil. I knew one guy who was Jewish and he told me his religion did not allow him to eat meat with cheese. Catholics do not believe in divorce but I heard Protestants or Lutherans allow it. And many religions do not believe in sex before marriage.

Many men believe in a supreme being who he calls god. The supreme being may be more than one, like the Hindus. But of all these gods, there must be only one true God and all the others are false gods. How then can he determine whether the god he believes in and worships is the true God or a false god? What are the attributes of god that man considers as those a true God should possess?

Are we just contented to believe in a god because this is the god that was introduced to us by our parents? Or do we just believe that all these gods are one and the same?

Your view on the matter is most welcome.

The dictionary says it should be pronounced \ˈli-təl\
But when I hear it in audio, it sounds like "lirruh." I don't hear the T.
Should I pronoucne it "litoh" or "lirruh"?

No not naruto, I'm talking about real life where people travel to mountains to train for a martial arts or anything a teacher living in a hidden village is good at? I've seen those movies like Batman begins where he travels all the mountains to train. I would really like to go to one if there was.

I think the world is blind by all the amazing things that happens in the world (nature), but yet its been happening for so long, to people think of it as normal. But if you just stop and look at the way nature is, don't you believe its magic. Because how can a big watermelon grow from a little tiny seed, how can another life creature come out of a creature thats nothing but bones and guts. Not all Christians are like that, and we're not supposed to be. We're not supposed to judge, hate, or wish for people to die, true Christians don't act like that, and never should.

And to all the other people that may be reading this:

Please don't take any of this the wrong way beacuse I'm not some Christian extremist trying to shove Christianity down your throat. I'm just asking you to not group us all together as snoody brats who hate every other religion.

I really don't mean to be a pest, but I just need reasurance.
LIFE SUCKS!!! IT IS HORRIBLE!!! Honestly, I feel as though pople ALL around me are like becoming friends, and hooking up and actually enjoying life. I try to focus on the little things, but nothing good comes to mind. I have few friends, and that is my fault. I am 14, entering high school, and am GAY. Yeps, I am an only child and homosexual... Golly gee, isn't this dandy? T.T
SO tell me, does life get better? Because furthurmore, I can't play any sports. AT ALL. So tell me, exactly when does life get better? Because I would like to see

Ape or not, i enjoy going to Mass every Sunday. I makes me feel closer to some higher power that i cannot possibly describe. Is that just dribble from an old ape creeping around with his gout. When i say "intelegence" i mean language. Obviously langauge allows oneself to be more conscious and express ones thoughts more co-herently.

Animals such as dog' have been with man for thousands of years and have shown the ability to understand words thus understanding language albeit to a limited extent.

What im wondering is does this make dogs more smarter in the right situations then say wolves?

can they "think" there way out of problem with the aid of language and plan ahead while a wolf is just "reacting with instict" for instance?

ok, for as long as I can remember, I've had this sort of memory, I know this didn't happen in my life, because my parents would have told me. So this is how it goes: I know I am very young, maybe 2 or 3. I am a girl, by the way, in the memory and in real life. I'm sitting in an airplane seat by the window. My mother is sitting next to me. All throughout the memory, I am looking out the window, but I hear her voice. So anyways, I am sitting there, and my window is the one that's right behind one of the wings of the plane. It partially obscures my view, but I get a pretty good view anyways. It is takeoff. I can see the wing lifting up slightly, but then, the wing dips back down. My mother's voice is saying that something is wrong, that the plane is crashing. Then it ends. I don't know if I died, or if the memory is just ending. Me as the other person in the memory never feels afraid, not once, but now, when I think about it, I feel afraid, like I might fall back into the memory.

i really don't feel that people can be born any thing i think its just hormones and feelings that we create as we grow. some people are totally straight until that special someone inspires them. my friend feels different she thinks that people are born gay and some of them just don't know it can some one please give me their opinions

Anyone know??

I want to know what do those things have in common because I've hated all 3 of them. Sometimes it's hard to be around people because people go crazy for stuff like that. I watch them, and I just hate them. They annoy me, and I find them boring.

Other than those people having a lot of hardcore fans.

I just don't understand why do I hate those things so much. What could they have in common?
