The man is famous for his saying " If you have 2 tunics, and your neighbor has none, give him one of your tunics"

SURELY thats amounts to a modern day version of pay higher taxes so the least fortunate has health care. Or am i missing something?

I dont think he would be too fond of 3000 americans dying per year due to poor healthcare (i suppose he could heal some, but would be a rather busy fellow i would think)

...get offended when you respond with sarcasm or blatant stupidity in return?

I enjoy Y!A but don't take it seriously. Yes, I am guilty of enjoying my points build. HOWEVER one would have to wonder about the ability of someone with 27,000 points to function in reality.

Maybe they should not ignore their children, because how would you have an existence outside of fanatical point and "friend" seeking?

Maybe they wouldn't have to flirt with someone elses man/woman if they had time offline to devote to a real time romance.

Maybe they need to grow a spine and deal with average rude, yes rude people and not curl up into the fetal position and suck their thumbs.

Why is it that people lacking in intelligence feel they must advertise they are brilliant, as if a blind person can't see through it?

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. (troll)

Excuse me I am leaving, no time to play with avatards. My hottie and I are done laughing and on to real FUN.

Jewish scholars say the Trinity concept is pure Polytheism ?
It began hundreds of years ago, when the Church changed the Bible. . .

The "New Testament": Pagan revenge

Between G-d's own miracles and the Jewish teaching of His Word, the pagan priesthoods of Egypt, Greece, and Rome were steadily losing their power over the gentile populations. They decided to fight back by creating a new religion, one that would claim to be the fulfillment of the Hebrew "Old Testament," yet would bring back the pagan lies in a new disguise.

Thus the "New Testament" was written, in Greek rather than Hebrew, and attached to the original Hebrew scriptures to try to change their meaning back toward paganism.

The "New Testament" tried to change G-d from One, as in the Hebrew scriptures, into a "trinity" as in Egyptian cults or the eastern religions of Hinduism and Buddhism. It described Jesus as G-d in a human body, like the pagans always described Pharoah and other wicked kings. It declared G-d's Law to be a "curse" that no one can truly obey, announced that there must be a "mediator" between G-d and man, and pretended that salvation could now be achieved outside the Law.

To blind the gentile nations, the "New Testament" also warned people not to learn from the Jews, declaring that Israel no longer possessed the true, complete Word of G-d.

In the Bible, the book of Daniel warned of an evil power--a false religion--that would believe in the true "G-d of fortresses... plus a god its fathers did not know." This religion would "speak bizarre words about the Most High, wear out the holy ones (the Jews), and plan to change the festivals and the religious Law."7 The Christian Church has indeed replaced Passover with Easter (the pagan holiday of Astarte and Ishtar) and Hanukah with Christmas (the pagan winter holiday).

[36] Maimonides, Responsa, 448

The Muslims [Ishmaelim] are not in any way idolators. [Idolatry] has already been removed from their mouths and their hearts, and they unify G-d in the appropriate manner without any admixture [of idolatrous beliefs].

heck, he can't even beat a bunch of iron chariots.

Everyone I know is strongly Christian. I dont really have anyone to talk to about this. Everyone just wants to convince me that I've gone astray and should pray about it, and I'll just come around to believing again.

Its like people think I'm a bad person. I'm nervous about telling anybody.

I think the morals taught by Christianity are good, but I dont really believe in god or that other stuff. I think people should do their best to be good. Can you be moral and not believe in god?

Firstly, let me say I'm gay. Thinking on the subject I find myself wondering whether or not same-sex couples are selfish to adopt children. Having been alienated at school for being 'different' and for having strange emotions (guilt/denial) at the thought of coming out, I wonder how a parent's sexuality would affect a child? How would the child introduce his/her friends to two mums/dads? Would the child be bullied? Would the child end up resenting his/her parents? Is the world we live in ready for this yet?

I was on this one website in order to get a free book on a certain subject I was interested in that the tv preacher had mentioned on his program that day. I clicked on it and it took me to another pg which said something like "You first must give a donation in order to claim your gift". They might as well have put a price tag on the book, huh?

I can certainly appreciate all of you. I hope that you feel that others outside of your beliefs do. Yeah I'm christian but that doesn't mean I can't respect you or your beliefs. You believe the things you do just as strongly as I believe mine.

You all are OK in my book. Well except the trolls - they need an **** whoopn' but you know how that goes... They just don't know any better.

I'm 17 and i feel like im going to be alone for the rest of my life, all my friends drink smoke and do drugs, my gf does ( sadly ) and everyone does around here, am i destined to be alone just because i wont throw away a coupple years of my life or all of it just to get high for 10 minutes, to be cool for a day and to fit in for a week? What kind of wolrd is this where the only person doing the right thing always feels like there the only one doing the wrong thing? Why is it like this? Why do people feel the need to take a hit of acid just to loose control of there body for a little while, why do people want to smoke cigerets knowing they cause cancer and pain to them and everyone around them, why do people want to get drunk just to do something stupid they either wont remember the next day or they will regret it for the rest of there life? WHY!?

Citing religious texts results in circular logic.

Example: The Bible says that God is real and God inspired the Bible.
Example II: The Quran says that god is real and god inspired the Quran.

This is circular logic and is therefore flawed.

I am looking for proof of any god.

Please no jargon about how I am an evil atheist, no attacks on evolution or science as I didn't mention evolution or science and please no rambling emotional testimonies about how you felt god as your feelings are not hard proof of anything.

The last two times I have asked this question I have mostly received rambling emotional testimonies and people pointing out the complexity of the life as proof. These things are not proof. One person actually cited religious text at me and several others left an unrelated comment about how the Bible predates the Quran.

Saying that our existence is enough proof of the existence of god is not hard evidence.

I await your responses.
