LuckyJohn I'm not looking to get in on the 'cash cow' referred to as T.V. Evangelism...
I'm simply wondering if there are Christians out there who donate regularly to any of them --- and my next question would be "WHY" (IF you don't give to your own)

gg28 I agree that not all T.V. ministries are bad...but there are couple of rotten apples. i think it's commendable what you are doing. I think you have your priorities straight ~ Tithe your own church first, and then IF LED by the Spirit, give to others.

If we have a local church, that is where we are to give our tithe. But it is also ok to give to other ministires as God leads you to do. We tithe faithfully, and we also give to variouis ministries also. Including to Daystar TV and will also soon give to TBN, besides various pastors. Larry Huch is one of our favorite tv pastors and he is just right on about everything. But our tithe goes to the local church, as God directed us to do.

We tithe my husband's payroll check every week to our church, plus give to mission trips, to youth activities, to other things we feel prompted by the Lord to participate in.., AND I have been partners with TBN & CBN's 700 Club for years & now Daystar. I also give to a few other ministries and my husband and I give offerings monthly to a ministry who supports Israeli's who are returning to Israel from other parts of the world, who are homeless and just beginning a new life and also send offerings to send to needy Jews in other parts of the world.. because we believe it is the right thing to do! Not just one temple now like back in Old Testament, but there are many "storehouses" to place your tithe and seed into; much good ground. My husband and I always pray before we make financial commitments to ministries and wait for a confirmation.

DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

Not me! There's quite a few TV ministers who pocket that money for themselves.
Ever heard of the guy who sold packets of "holy water?" Well, he's one of many examples.

I use to give to TBN but haven't been able to for awhile..and it wasn't more than the church either..
