every 2150 years the sun rises in a new zodiac house on the spring equinox; this is known as the precession of the equinoxes. this is due to the slow angular "wobble" that the earth maintains while spinning on its axis. it is called precession b/c it goes backward through the zodiac compared to the yearly cycle. it completes an entire cycle every 26,000 years. the last one was in march 1 BC when we entered pisces. also a new saviour was born soon before whose followers found iconic relevance in the image of the fish (pisces' icon is the fish). the next house is aquarius and we will enter it on the spring equinox 2150.
