In the bible there were three main nations that held Israel captive: Egypt, Babylonia, and Assyria. Biblically speaking, If the god of the Egyptians was pleasure, the god of Babylonians was power, and the god of the Assyrians was work, for which of these three could there be NO REDEMPTION?

I'm not sure how the Old Testament viewed the Egyptian religion, or the other two (which I don't know anything about) but the ancient Egyptians believed in many gods and goddesses. They were on a pyramid scheme (so to speak). The main two were Ra, the sun god and Ma'at (a mother-like goddess who represented truth)' they had four children, two (Isis & Osirus) that became the main 'good' guys and Set & Nut (?). Set was the god of chaos and confusion and the other was vague.
But, mainly there religious views were many-there are different versions of every story I've seen so I don't know about a basic belief in a god of pleasure.
But, I see what you mean by the three nations. The Greeks and Romans weren't until the New Testament.
God couldn't even make up his mind in the Sodom & Gomorrah thing-He was talking it over with Moses beforehand, so I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in his redemtive powers of nations.

You forget about the Roman and Greek captivity.

Salvation is for all. No one is excluded.
