when we discuss the existence of god we should agree on specific statements to begin discussion.
do you think that if you can not see god and feel his existense by your senses, then it is a must that he does not exist?
i can not see you now and i don't need to do so, to believe that you really exist...
we did not see shakespere and newton but we know that they existed someday and died and left behind somthing that tells us they where here someday...
scientists did not see the electrons but they know they exist from their effects in material , through experiments..
well,if you visited somecountry..where there were no rules that govern traffic: i.e.there are no driving liecence ..anyone could ride a car..there were no traffic lights ..no signs to show you the way..wouldn't you ask about all this mest..wouldn't your mind ask urgently for someone to govern the traffic..to make a system..and if you visited a country that is well organised won't you praise the system and feel comfortable..
so how about the system that governs this world?don't you think that there is someone behind this system..imagine that the sun everyday rises in different direction than the other day..imagine that the sun rises an hour a day and 40 hours another day..won't that upset you.?
if you would tell me that it is evolution..
i would give you a simple example..
if someone prisoned you in a cage while u were asleep..then when you woke up and asked him to let u out..then he told u that the rods came together and made the cage ..it was done by evolution..and you were prisoned by nature would you beleive him?
how can immature nature make such inteligent creature like us?
this thing is unbelivable....
well,we humans tell now can not solve the mystry of death..does not that tell you about some power behind which is so inteligent

Yes there is God.Just look around at his creation including free will. That right if you want to blame God for the bad stuff you are wrong for humans have free will and some choose it to do bad things why I do not know.Jesus does not want robots but people who are willing to serve and love him by choice not buy force.Plus if he did miracles everyday would we worship him or would you take him for grant and only call to him when you want something.Sometimes I ask for stuff sometimes I just talk to him like the living being he is.He does enjoy a good conversation and no I am not crazy or on drugs or drunk I am Just high on the love of Jesus.Praise be to him.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.
How terrible the bible in particular is:

Edit: one of the christians thinks the existence of air can't be proven... this gives you an idea how ignorant some of them are.

How in the name of anything could we possibly prove the existence of something that either:
1) does not exist.
2) is beyond the confines of our understanding of time, space, matter, and energy; and is infinite in all ways and therefore impossible to measure anyway.
All we can prove is what we can observe and measure, and come up with the most reasonable conclusion available based on that information. And still different people will interpret that data differently.
Each of us takes the existence or nonexistence of God on faith only. Anybody who says that they can prove it--or can disprove it--has no idea what they are talking about.
Personally for me, I think that the existence of God is the most rational conclusion to the data I have reviewed. People should share why they believe what they believe, but ultimately it is up to the individual to decide what makes the most sense to them.

Yes, God is real. I believe in the christian god. Even if you don't believe in "him", something made everything- even if that something is just scientific energy, there must be intelligent thought in that- how can we have our intelligence if it did not derive from somewhere else? Call energy god if it makes you happy- there is something greater out there- the question is, do you believe you are important enough to part of the design, or just a result of it? (Btw- "him", I mean generic, not specifically male.) Louis v- I'm pretty sure the Vatican is in Rome, not Romania. Unless there's a Transylvanian vampire cult I am not aware of.

Of course there is no proof, or there wouldn't be so many athiests and so many religions. You can believe God is real, you can believe God is not real, but you cannot know for sure.

The universe came into existence at a point in the distant past. Nothing can come into existence, though, unless there is something to bring it into existence; nothing comes from nothing. There must therefore be some being outside of the universe that caused the universe to exist. This argument, if it is successful, demonstrates the existence of a Creator that transcends time, that has neither beginning nor end.

Let me ask you a question......Is the air you breathe real? what proof do you have that there is such a thing as air? Like it or not, some things cannot be proven. We can however know that God is there because of what he gives us. He gave you Life. and an instruction book, the Book is the Bible. Follow its instructions. I have, and I am glad I did.

Do I have physical proof? No. I do have the Bible that says he is and I have a heart and a mind that tells me so. I guess, I need to say he is as real as you want him to be.+=

Nope.
To be honest, anyone who believes he is is pretty stupid to me, but thats just my opinion. No offense.
Though, I respect others opinions, and let them believe whatever the hell they want to.
LOLOL! I can't say that with a straight face, sorry.
But seriously, even if he is real, who created him? And who created the thing that created him? And so forth.
How the hell are we here?
