First of all, let me say that I don't think it's nice to threaten people with hell.

That said... The truth is that if you don't believe in Jesus, and accept him as your Lord and Savior, you are going to hell.
It's not nice, but it's true.....

Why are atheist so offended? I mean if you don't believe that there is a hell, then you have nothing to worry about. right? And if you chose not to believe in Jesus, then you have to accept the consequences... right?

Why should Christians, butter up the truth? Do you want us to lie? Wouldn't that make us hypocrites?

i've come up with this on my own and was wondering if it was similar to anything already out there.

there is no god, only a creator. this creator may have been significant in power, significant enough to maybe have begun the processes of evolution on earth so many ages ago, but surely was no god. i believe this creator entity may or may not have been simply travelling the universe, and intentionally/unintentionally sparked the original seeds of life on earth. surely this creature is no longer near us, or not likely still living.

there is no religious text, no deciples, no god, this is my belief on the origin of mankind.

that most people seem to think that if a person classifies themselves as a Christian, the reader automatically assumes that the person actually has a personal relationship with God? In reality, many call themselves Christian because they are a member of this or that religious group. All religion is created by man...not God? Simply belonging to one is not enough. A true Christian lives the life of a Christian...walks with God 24/7...trusts God with all things. It is not someone who just goes to church every weekend or someone who follows this practice or that practice. A personal relationship with God/Jesus is the only criteria required....or accepted by God.

My family doesn't know what to do with my grandma: 2 days ago, she wandered off looking for my cat who had been gone for a couple of days (she thought he had disappeared for good, and was worried sick, even though the cat was fine), and no one could find her. She had ended up a block away from my house, at a neighbor's house, but she had no ID on her.
So what can we do to make sure that if she gets lost again (for example at the grocery store), people who find her will know who to contact? we were thinking dogtags, but she could take those off; or a pretty bracelet with phone numbers, but she might take that off too.

Any suggestions? because it's bound to get worse.
