expertless, what are MY sins, since you seem to be intimately acquainted with them

Do Republicans like Gonzales get smited harder, since they are God's Chosen people and are supposed to be setting the example for those of us who aren't Chosen?

Maybe exactly the same time He smites you for your sins.

Rosta...not going to knock your questions...which seem to be political criticisms with a thin mix of religion.

My question to you is this...when big man Bill was debating the definition of "is", or saying oral sex is not the same thing as sex, or just for the matter denying he did anything in the oval office ...were you asking these same questions?

After all...we're talking about 1) lying, 2) adultry, 3) coveting (wanting what he had no right to want, ie any woman he could have because of his position) or 4) having an idol before God (after all, he thought he was above the law, and didn't have to answer questions..so...bill's idol...was bill)

Now...lets get back to the point....Bill, George, Alberto...they're all men...like you and me and the next door neighbor. Not one of us is perfect, which is the one thing that will keep us from joining perfection for etermity.

Which is the reason for Jesus' sacrifice...so we can be reconcilled.

Anyone disagree? Reconciliation is more fruitful than finger pointing.

God does not interfere in US politics. Otherwise, there'll be "burning Bush" at the White House.

You can indeed be smitten for wrongdoing by God, but just how and when is up to God. Meanwhile evil powers often have first choice.

Never. The penalty for intentional lies is never being warned or redeemed by God or by man, and never being told why not. If the person you mentioned never seeks to know and practice truth, they will never recognize it. And if they are smitten by anyone, it will not be by 'God', but by themselves or by their fellow men
The best way to confuse a chronic liar is to tell them the truth...this NEVER fails! (They will automatically assume you are lying, and act accordingly...)
