How TRUE. Religions of man always make Judgements, but whether we listen to them is up to us for THEY are not the ones to pay the price in the end if we listen to bad choices, that price is paid by US and from all I have ever seen of the EXAMPLES of these religions, I want no part of the price THEY will end up paying for their own vain choices simply to PROFIT. Life is not a circus and none of us are clowns that we need to dress up to appear holy unto others. It is what is within our hearts and all we do for each other that God in heaven looks upon and it doesn't take us being a member of a church, temple, mosque, or synagogue for us to fulfill the two commandment Jesus asked of us...........

What happened to the good old days when a Christian was a person who just believed in God?

You bring up a valid point. Calling yourself a Christian does not make you one. They don't live the life, and are quick to do things " in the name of God" that are not like God.

I am a Christian, not an "Evangelical" or a "Presbyterian", I believe that sects like that divide Christianity as a whole, leading to unnecessary bickering and finger-pointing.

That's your definition of a true Christian, but others have different definitions which are equally valid. Thomas Jefferson considered himself a Christian but denied the divinity of Jesus. To many Christians, he was not a true Christian; to others he was, as he endeavored to follow the moral example of Jesus.

Yes, how can you not notice, there are so many people in the churches today, who are nowhere filled with the Holy Spirit and they can drain you pretty good.
I believe , that many who think , they are saved, aren't really saved. I might be wrong, but the bible says that in the last days many are going to be deceived.

That's what all Christians say. Christians have been having a go at each other since Christ.

So....by your be-moaning, I assume that you were in full knowledge of Christ from the outset of your life, and you expect others to be so as well. You are a poor excuse of a Christian if I ever met one. Do you not know that we are to be patient with our brothers and sisters in Christ? Do you not know that even Satan is not divided unto himself? (All the demons of hell are in concordance with one another) Do you know that Christians are NOT to argue words? (split hairs?)
You might think you know Christ, but Christ is love, and what you just asked is not of Love. It is of division, of pride and of the devil.
