I have nothing against atheists and this is not an attack. But the athiest i have met so far, have all been very intolerant of religion. I know that thiest "Condem you to hell" but that is the main belief of monothiesm. Alot of the time atheist have said i have a mental deseise just becuase i believe in god. So if you hate religions becuase they are so intolerant well going round and "trolling" on thiest is a hypocrisy do you agree.

Warranted no hope?

First I want to say I hope and pray everyone here has happiness health love and financial success in thier life,

But my question is this: It's pretty easy for people to say their life is wonderful when you have all the things I mentioned above....

But should you face a time where you are in a situation of enormous calamity, a massive earthquake, hurricaine( which many people have suffered) anyways you lost part of your limbs, your family perished, you lost your wordly posessions, where would you draw your Strength, Hope and desire to persevere from??
Where would you draw your strength from?

If you see on a stone engraved with runes how can you learn to understand it? I have searched but mostly it just talks about divination.

My daughter was selected to dance in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade this November. It is an expensive trip and she has been doing some fund raising but we have a long way to go. We just sent some letters to local businesses but we were also considering sending a letter to family and friends asking them to donate. Is this tacky?

the Declaration of Independence? Both documents mention God and Lincoln's most famous speeches were full of Biblical quotes.

YHWH or Yahweh is explained in the book of Exodus as "I am Who I am". Since the name of God was considered so sacred Jews started to call him Adonai, which means Lord.
Later, someone put YHWH and Adonai together and came up with Jehovah. I was just wondering if you knew that and what you're thoughts were on it.

You see, atheists are easily hurt hypocrites who resort to virtual murder to get rid of anyone who doesn't agree with them.

If only you knew how bad Hell is.

God bless you you hypocrites.

Are we talking murdering non-believers unless they convert (like the Crusades) or something peaceful. Like do the opposing sides sit across from one another and pray until people on the other side die or convert? I'm confused as to exactly what "spiritual warfare" means.

If someone walks up to you and tells you that you were created by a god you never heard of, and that you must believe in this god and follow his rules, are you supposed to believe the person?

It appears that this is what Jehovah expects people to do, as these are the rules he laid down for achieving salvation.

Many christian missionaries have gone all over the world expecting people to believe what they tell them.

However, imagine that some spiritual being approached Jehovah and informed Jehovah that he had actually been created by some god that was greater than himself, some god that Jehovah had never heard of. Imagine if Jehovah was told that he must believe in this "super-god" and do as that being commanded. Do you think that Jehovah would be likely to just decide to believe what he was told? Its what he apparently expects us to do - if he thinks this type of behavior is so admirable, would he follow suit?

Was there a jury present wqhen God said "? "I will destroy every living thing that I have made". That is a capital sentence. Did Mankind have a fair trial by jury? Have we been convicted illegally? Is there a possibility that if we followed the rules of court we could receive clemency? Do we really have to die?
OK born-again's show your real self. Use vulgar language in response.

For instance, I've heard that Jehovah's Witnesses don't celebrate birthdays. In fact, if fallen angel2007 were a Jehovah's Witness, she would not be celebrating her birthday today--which it IS her birthday!

In fact, I had posted a poll on P&S asking who would join me in wishing her a happy b'day, which customer service deleted---of course, I'm referencing this all based on my question about religions that do not celebrate birthdays. I'm certainly not asking anyone to wish fallen angel2007 a happy birthday here. Of course, if they want to--and it doesn't go against their religious belief, which is what this question is about--then by all means, go ahead! In fact, if you want to give her a big hug(((HUG))) and kiss *KISS*, and it doesn't go against your religious beliefs, which, I emphasize, is what this question is about, by all means, go right ahead!

It's not my fault if people read this as a call to wish her a happy b'day & not a legit question about religious beliefs! ;)

If god has a plan for everyone, then why isnt it that I, an atheist, am just simply doing what god wanted me to do? isnt it possible that i was created to not believe in god? would it be too hard for christians to fathom the fact that maybe i am just doing and believeing what i am supposed to?

Is god all powerful? You'd say Yes, so have a look at my question:

If I'd ask god weither he could make a rock that he couldn't lift, what would he answer? If yes, than he can make a rock that he can not lift, so that means his powers are limited, because he can not lift the rock.
If god answer No, than the answer is obvious => he can not make a rock that he can not lift, so he is not all powerful.

What does this contradiction mean? That an all powerful god can not exist? Yes.

Now I am wondered what kind of irrational answers I'm about to receive...

I am in a situation where my wife died a year ago, a few people came to the service/sent cards, but not very many, and afterwards nobody said a word to me since, nobody called, nobody came over, not a hug, nothing. no love no kindness anything. I realize I could have left and looked for another church, but I just had my world change radically and I didn't want everything to change all at once so I stayed. It's not always feasible to just leave all the time. And it isn't for me right now. But I don't have any peace about giving money to a church when I am involved in nearly everything in the church and nobody makes me a part of their busy life. I'm sick of hearing that people are busy - I don't care. They are busy but they could include me as a part and they don't.And I don't think it's me at all.People freak out and they can't handle death. That's not my fault.
I don't think I should give to any ministry where I'm not viewed and functioning as a part of it.

have anyone in your family ever laughed at u because u decide instead of going to sixs flags u will go to church.
On Aug 3 I was going to go to sixs flags but then i decided that I don't want to go because I want to this thing they are going to be doing in my church and the cost of it is $50. The thing that they will be doing at my church is called an encounter. An encounter is something where u learn more about God and it also changes your life. Do you think that my brother is wrong for laughing or not? If u want to know more u can email me
