I believe in both heaven and hell... in the end, those are our choices.... you can only 'choose' heaven if you choose Christ and choose to give your life over to Him... repenting of all sins and striving to live as He would live, and serve God by living a Christlike life.

or you can dismiss the idea of Christ as your Savior, and your choice is made for the other place!

there is no other choice.... no purgatory, no limbo....

Both

Catholics, and most other Christians believe in Heaven and Hell, although with different approach as the Catholics believes in free will and most other Christians do not as they believe in determinism, the contrary of free will.

For Catholics Heaven and Hell are spiritual places, so no physical matter are inside them.

Heaven is the supreme goal all humans search, that is eternal life with God, living as one with the Holy Trinity, so eternal joy and happiness.

Hell is the opposite the self-exclusion of live with God by own free will for those who refuse to be converted even in the end of their lives, so a state of complete suffering.

I believe in both actually but i have studied in the Hebrew and Greek and the hell is mentioned on many occasion actually meaning the physical grave but their are other places in the bible that are talking about burning in hell for ever,.... but actually your soul will be turned to ashes for ever and ever,.....the only torment will be knowing your judgment,.....and this is tormenting to know your future damnation,.....but when your soul in turned into ashes it is no more,......this is not taught in very many churches,....this is a sad thing because they try to scare you into serving God and this is not true love if you must be scared into loving him,........now heaven is a wonderful place,.....for even the lion will eat the straw of the Field like the cow and the child of God will put his hand in the hole of a serpent (snake) and will not be bit,.....their will be a great peace with men and the animals of nature will change,.....no more carnivores nore will we desire it,........but just image the eternity,.... standing before God as your Heavenly Father,....and going up to him and asking him all things,..............and all tears will be wiped away and we will see many family and friends,......a great family reunion.!.....................and we must remember this heaven will be on earth,.......but it will be a rejuvinated earth and we will have a society that is righteous,...........a perfect government that is equally loving to all. sort of a utopia if i might used layman terms. God is calling out a people,.....they are God's Elect,....these are the people that will be teachers in the Milliniel Kingdom,....they will teach for 1,000 yrs. and educate God's children that were deceived by the false churches because Satan's influence,....their will be many saved during that time,.......Satan has deceived many so when christ show's up he will set up his Mileniel kingdom and he will use God's elect to open the eyes of many,...... Go has a perfect plan,... he hasn't given up on us,.....if we are unable to know him now because of the great deception he will make it evident when he comes and then you will be able to choose at the end of the thousand yrs because by then you will have no excuse not to love him because he will have showed you all things,.....and he will even show you satan in a literal pit in the ground ,....that people will walk by saying Satan and some will say this is him that deceived the Nations,....... they will be amazed that this poor miserable wretch deceived the world...the Lord will give us all a chance,....he will come to our level of understanding.............it's wonderful plan he has,...it just hurt's me that people are not willing to do a deep study to know God's plan,....instead we go to church and beleive everthing the pasture tells us,....he is a man and is underbondage through his denominations beliefs,....we are accountable for our own salvation,...this no man can do for us.........Their are study tools available, with proper translations instead of transliteration that fall short of their real meanings,...God is Mercy but we must seek him out,....God's Elect will seek him out,.......if not the milenium will be their for many,........satan and all deception will be put away and if we then surve Satan after all deception is put aside and you know the truth,....then comes are judgment when there soul will be destroyed,.....and then they will be no more and this is the death that is eternal.......I hope you can enjoy God's plan,....well at least what i shared with you. God Speed!

Yes I believe in both. Where else would we go if we died?

Both.

Heaven and hell are basic Christian doctrines.

+ Heaven +

Heaven is eternal life with God; communion of life and love with the Trinity and all the blessed.

Heaven is the state of supreme and definitive happiness, the goal of the deepest longings of humanity.

+ Hell +

Hell is the state of complete and final self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed, reserved for those who refuse by their own free choice to believe and be converted from sin, even to the end of their lives

No one really knows what hell is like. It has been described by people who have not been there as everything from flames to a frozen lake (Dante).

+ Heaven vs. Hell +

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell."

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The holy man said, "I don't understand."

"It is simple" said the Lord, "it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."
