life does that make you feel like a wretch? Knowing that sin put Jesus on that cross. Jesus did not deserve to die and all. But knowing that the sin put Jesus there, does that make you feel ashamed and discusted? It is starting to me. Knowing my drunkeness in the past, swearing, lying, stealing in the past put him there, makes me feel like a little wretch. How do you feel? Makes me feel like a piece of crap..

My calender says 2007. That means 2007 years from when Jesus Christ was born.

I am reminded every day of all the wonders of God because I do a morning scripture study. I love starting my day with the Word of God. But if you are looking to make fun of us because we can't prove to you there is a God then your wrong.

The REASON we can't prove to you there is a God is because God wants it that way. If God was here telling us what to do then how could we show him by faith that we are willing to choose Jesus over the world. IF God was right here, we could not practice PERFECT faith in him. However we do have the Holy Ghost to guide us. The Holy Ghost if VERY real and the power a Christian is give to overcome is very real.

If you really want to challenge some one why not talk to a missionary?

During the renaissance why is it that you changed the bible so much [to make sense with science] that it contradicted itself and then blamed science - and burned people at the stake etc later on?

For practicing chemistry, physics and biology - why did you condsider this as witchcraft - surely YOU were scared that you were wrong...

Harry Potter's embracement of witchcraft, demonic powers, potions, the Godly number 'seven', and even the fact that he might die and be resurrected, is overwhelming in our bookshops, libraries and classrooms; yet many Christians choose reading it over the Bible.

in this dull life, and Jesus came up to you in a white robe, and you saw his shinniong face and the nails in his hands, and said to you "I love you my child, I went though all this for you will you follow me"? What would you reaction be? And you felt a love that made you weap. And you had a reacuring one the next night and Jesus remined you that he loves you, and it touched your heart. Then you go to the bible and see that Jesus is love and that he had compassion on all those that weere hurting, loved those that pursecuted him, tought forgivness, and then you read the part where Jesus was crusified, and then rose again. After that experiece of feeling a love that you have never know in his presince, would that move you? Then you read in the bible that says "In the last days I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, and your young men shall dream dreams and your old me shall see visions, and your sons and daughters shall prophecy" Would this move you. It moved me. That is how I came to

I am talking about the catholic church here and not the Christian church. There is a difference. The Christian church allow there leaders/ministers to marry like God comanded that we could do. All men have a natural urge for sex. God put that there so we could "go forth and multiply" as said in the Bible. Why then does the catholic church not allow preists to marry and also helps to hide the millions of abuse cases each year committed in the catholic church?
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that a priest cannot marry. It says "sometimes" it is good for a man not to marry not always.
when will the Catholic church realise this.

I am working up my own version of Christinaity for a story in it a sin is when an obession with a passion becomes so great you let your urges guide you instead of your mind. In otherwords anytime you let something nonrational or loving control you that is a sin. So far I have these things

Lust: When you let your desire for bodily pleasure control you
Greed: When you let your desire for material goods control you
Egoism: When you let the desire for status, respect, and looking good control you
Violence Mongering: When you let your blood lust control you or become too vengful
Pure Evil: When you only care about your happiness and satisfaction.

PLEASE READ: I AM NOT ASKING FOR THE BIBLICAL SINS I AM ASKING FOR THINGS THAT FIT MY OWN DEFINATION OF A SIN I AM AN ATHIEST!!!!!!!!
