Serenity Prayer

First, Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship with the Living God. Therefore, reciting a rote prayer is like talking to the wall and not Him. I speak to Him as I would anyone else I truly care about. And He hears me. Because of that, I don't recite something that has been repeated over and over, I TALK to Him and tell Him what my concerns are. Then I ask Him for help - because He is my Father.

It's not a seasonal prayer i pray coz i pray to Him daily. Will you study a Queastion by heart before you speak to your dad? It comes out of love. Exactly the same way you can speak and ask to your Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ.

God Bless.

Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

I either say the Lord's Prayer or recite the 23rd Psalm, or even the 27th Psalm ("The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?").

Troubles are nothing to be sad. It is just a step to reach him and to bring confident and strenght in us. I just call by her (Shakthi) names, or the lord whom i think that second. Or i just hear some songs are slogas. But mostly i call by names.
