Terrorism takes many forms. It can be psychological, spiritual or physical. Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, The Inquisition, Witch Hunts, the Berlin Wall, The Crusades (which, incidentally, saw terrorist acts on the part of the Mulims also!), Gengis Khan, The Black Death, and there isn't space to list all the other examples. Even today we have certain governments overtly inflicting their own subjects with the FEAR of terrorism - which is an act of terrorism in itself, if you stop to think about it.
Wise up on what terror is, and you'll realise that it's by no means confined to religions. However, I think it's safe to say that all the major world faiths abhor terrorism and would denounce those who practice it, especially in the name of God.

Their not. By today's standards the Minutemen during the revolutionary war were terrorists. There are tribes of Indians in South America that kill men from other tribes just as a warning. The Vietcong during the war in Vietnam were terrorists. Being a terrorist, or being called a terrorist depends on your point of view.
Muslim Extremists know that terrorist tactics are the only tool that they have to effect change. Surely they can not fight us straight up.
All though out history terrorists tactics have been used and depending on your point of view these people were either called terrorists or Hero's. The Minutemen sniped and killed many British, but they are not considered to be terrorists because we think their cause was Noble.

Dear Friend:
I only want to say regarding this is that a criminal has no religion, criminality is the only religion. They unnecessarily bring disgrace to a the community, which has ,among other communities, played a pioneer role in nation building. So, kindly remove this misunderstanding from ur mind. How can we stereotype the people of a religion?
In Holy Quran it is written that-"You follow your own religion, and let others follow their".

Israel was given Palestine 4,000 years ago to be witnesses, but that was their only territory.
Christians have been given the work of spreading the Gospel to "all nations." But they were to "turn the other cheek" when spurned.
However, Christians spread the gospel by shedding blood and coersion. So God sent militant Muslims with dictates in the Qur'an to forcibly convert infidels. If they resist, they were to be killed.
Arabian nations will eventually cause the destruction of this world in Armageddon. This is explained in a on-line book: "The Rise, Decline, and Death of Islam in Bible Prophecy" at http://abiblecode.tripod.com
Blessings and AGAPE, Balaam
Edit: Your critics have not studied history. Urban ordered the crusades after appeals by the emperor of the Byzantine empire as Muslems kept attacking Constantinople by the thousands. Urban knew Catholic territories would fall next. They did: Portugal, Spain, and 1/2 of France were taken. Were it not for Charles Martell's slaughter of 300,000 Saracen invaders in France, Christian Europe might have been a suburb of the Ottoman Empire.

You are right!!!
Although, christianity & indeed other religions, have been hatefull and inflicted terror on other people, Islam is the one today, that is the main cause of terrorist attacks!
In my opinion, it is the age old, 'you believe something different to me, so i am going to kill you', scenerio!!
It is a way of thinking, that is sad & 'very' deluded!!
It isnt doing much for Islam, when you see muslims, marching in the streets, with plackards stating:
'KILL' ?
Also burning other nations flags & wanting to slaughter the designer of a cartoon?
Wanting to mutilate & kill, a muslim author, who dared to speak out?
All in the name of religion???
It is just showing Islam, as a set of wild, deluded & dangerous individuals, who you couldnt have a rational conversation with, being freightened to say a word against their religion, because it may end up with you being killed!!?
These people, are living in the dark ages, with the 'eye for an eye' style belief, you do something bad to us, we will do something far worse to you!!
I would like to point out however that, like most other religious people, not all muslims are terrorists, most are good, just wanting to please their 'god', without hate for other religions!
Personally, i hope 'all' the religions end soon, that human beings become rational in what they believe, instead of a belief in fiction & myth, hope they value science, for the benefit of future generations & the planet!!!

It's not. Your question is therefore invalid.
For example the biggest act of terrorism in Iraq, in living memory was operation Shock and Awe.
I presume you go on the premise that it's only terrorism when white people get bombed.
edit. Can you give any example of Islamic terrorism prior to 1967?

Currently, yes, but if you check your history books far enough back you will find religious groups as a source of incredible violence for thousands of years.
Take for example the crusades, where thousands were killed in the name of catholicism.
Then take the Protestant-Catholic terrorism in Ireland and the UK - it has settled down now but 20 years ago it was extreme.
Then look at China's treatment of the Dalai Lama.
Islamic terrorism began AFTER the UN awarded Israel its status and thousands of palestinians then became homeless. - end of the 1940s.
Terrorism is horrific, too horrific for words, but Islam didnt invent it - they've just found new ways to push the same self righteousness that men have used for centuries.

Where are your facts to support that. Chistians have killed just as many people...ie romans, the crusaders, the catholic church and current military. I am a christian but the world is full of killing in the name of religion. Every religion has done it throughout history. If you define terrorism then Im sure the people a thousand years ago were terrified by the catholic church and the roman empire also.
