The Bible has been a best seller for hundreds of years and has been translated, in whole or in part, into more languages than any other book. What makes this book different from any other book? Different even from other 'holy' books?

Why not read the Bible and find out? The Bible is a book of truth. You should read it day and night, and understand what you read to get a good understanding of it.

Unlike all other books, it has made numerous statements proving that it was sent from beyond our understanding of time. The most readily provable part of this is that the book of Daniel, written durring the Babylonian captivity, includes details of the rise and fall of the following empires. During the Greek empire of Alexander the Great, these works were translated into Greek (the septuagent). The Roman empire was included in this work. A secular benchmark by which the authenticity of Daniel is placed beyond reproach.
It also tells of the coming invasion of Israel by Russia and the arab nations. We know it won't happen tomorrow, because Turkey is not currently in alliance with Russia, as it will need to be before the invasion can take place. So when Turkey anounces that it is finished trying to be accepted into the EU, expect an alliance with Russia (currently hailed as the defender of Islam). Russia will not only lead the war, they will fully equip their allies, and there will be a nuclear exchange. Indications are that the USA will suffer huge losses as they dwell carelessly in the isles.
No other book I know of dares to lay it all out so clearly, yet so many continue to doubt its authenticity, because they would rather have a "God" that does their will, rather than do the will of Yahuwah, the supreme Elohim and creator of the universe.

Yahushua Shalom

God created man to live eternally if he ate from the tree of life. But man ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that God forbid him to eat and fell into sickness, pain, sorrow and sin. God has to activate His plan to save man by sending His only begotten Son to be a sacrifice for man to redeem him from sin and all its attendant problems and give him eternal life. It gave information in the Old and New Testament showing how God dealt with man under the law of Moses (salvation by works) and deals with man under grace and truth that came through Jesus Christ (salvation by grace and faith). It speaks of a God who seeks man out and He lives in man to guide and help him if he makes His Son, Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. The Bible claims that its God is the only true living God besides Him there is none other.

As a library the bible stands out as a directory of how to live in the light of God's love.
It also points out what will and does happen when we disregard God's prophesies, and promises.
People fail to realize that the God most people think of as the creator isn't.
They don't allow time or instructions from people who have learned the truth. So they go about hating our creator for things he isn't responsible for.

Knock, Knock! Let them in! Ask questions, and learn!
What you do with the knowledge is up to you.

The most important thing about the Bible is that it shows us that Jesus WAS Who He said He Was, and He proved it - the Living God.

It is also our Handbook for living TODAY. It is as valuable today as it was 2,000 years ago because God inspired every word.

People believe the stories to be fact, when, in fgact, many have been disproven to be factual. Hopwever, there are lessons about living a good and contributory life which are contained within the pages.

The fact is when people are indoctrinated at an early age about the vaility of something, it becomes pastered into their minds, and only a lot of new alternatives and repetition can allow us to take alternatives to the bible.

It is a way to control people's minds.

Incidentally in the new testament, there is NOTHING which Christ stated which tells us to suffer as humans. Christ never told us to suffer fro him. It is made made up after his death, and it is used to manipulate and control millions world-wide.

It amazes me how a 2000 year old book can address the situations of today.
There hasn't been a trying situation in my life that I haven't been able to find passages that speak directly to my need.

It's just a greatly misinterpreted story. People are scared to walk off the path and have their own beliefs. We are still so primitve and idiotic that we feel that we cannot have the ultimate freewill. We can think, do or say anything we want but then we have a text that says we have to believe in this...No dice. We have freewill, God never spoke to people to write a Bible. Have beliefs that fit you. If something in the Bible makes you scratch your head, change it to make it work for you.
