I've been at this company for 3 years. It's a business casual atmosphere. Two other guys went for the interview in their regular Bus. Cas work clothes. I don't want to try and show them up, but I think it would be cool if I wore a suit. It may show the interviewers I really want the job.

Note: The position would also be a business casual dress. What should I do? Thanks in advance!

Well... the Catholics will say Mary, but these are all attributes of Jesus given in the Bible (and none of these are given to Mary).

Kind of scary, this goddess worship of theirs.

a previous question got me thinking....
ok I know you guys don't believe in any type of God
thats cool
but so often we hear about miracles , and see lovely testamonies from religious about amazing things that have happened in their lives
they attribute it to whichever God they believe in
I would love to hear from you guys about any such " miracles "
doesn't matter if you don't attribute it to anything but luck ... being in right place at right time etc

just some good happy ending type stories
thank you in advance xx

Are there, or have there ever been black (of African descent)lords, barons, viscounts, marquisses, or dukes in the U.K.? Is nobility only included within hereditary titles, not marriage? For example: If a baroness marries a regular man off the street, does she keep her title or lose it? Also, does he become a baron?

Newcatholic seems to, which is crazy, because they used to burn us at the stake when we questioned their faith.

According to Hinduism/Buddhism/Sikhism, god is love and love is god. However, at the same time love is only an emotion. These three sister religions teach that in order to achieve moksha (nirvana), one must experience true inner self realisation (often through yoga, meditation, mantras, worship etc). This can only be done when one overcomes ALL EMOTIONS (this includes love) and all intellect (because emotions and intellect are directly associated with the human senses).

My first question is: Are these two contradictory concepts???

If yes, How can a devout Hindu/Buddhist/Sikh reconcile them (if at all possible)???

If someone invented a drug that caused everyone that took it to suddenly "snap-out" of their religious beliefs and to only believe in things that could be proven scientifically and logically, would you want it to be added to the water supply, (sort of like fluoride is to prevent cavities)?

If you had to, would you sneak into the water works plant and dump it in yourself?

Just curious...

Is it someone who has embraced the world's humanistic and anti-scriptural philosophies such as evolution, homosexuality, the government is the answer to the world's problems, abortion, global warming, etc.?

I am sure that you are all familiar with "Its not your deeds that get you into heaven but by believing in Jesus" and "If you are not with Jesus you are against him, you can only choose one or the other, and by not choosing one your effectively choosing the other" Did I get that right?

If so, answer this. Lets just say that I am an evil person, I mean I do the most horrible things to people - I kill them, violate them in the worst ways possible, kill, cut up and eat little children, kill innocent people, ruin lives, torture others, etc etc and I do this my entire life, an entire life of horrible deeds, yet on my deathbed I accept Christ and ask for forgiveness...will I go to heaven or hell?

What about my friend who has devoted his entire life to helping out others, countlessly risking his life to make someone elses better? He has given up all his worldy possessions just to be able to help those less fortunate, but doesnt believe in Jesus....will he go to heaven or hell?

I was reading that, according to Hinduism, sanscrit is the language of the Gods. Moreover, the sound waves that are produced when one speaks in sanscrit have unique mystical properties associated with them. That is why the Gayatri mantra is being used on mentally ill people, because of its powerful healing effects.

So why do so many Hindus recite the mantras quitely??? Doesn't it defeat the purpose of reciting mantras altogether if they are not spoken out loud???

Are there any advanced Hindus that can clarify???

I know it's July, but it's never too early to start planning for Christmas. I live in the southwest, where it's hot and sunny year round. We usually go to Utah for Christmas to stay at my Grandparents, but this year we want to go somewhere special. We can't afford to go to the eastcoast, and if we want my extended family to come, it would have to be in Utah. Somewhere where it's snows a lot and you can just have a traditional Christmas would be great. If anyone knows anywhere like that, please tell me! thanks!
