When I decided to leave religion it seriously affected my family situation because they were all very religious - or claimed to be. Leaving the religion i was in (JW) caused my divorce and estrangement from my brothers, sisters, father, son and daughter, some of which lasts to this day. My business was in a state of flux too. That was most depressing and I was at a point where suicide seemed attractive.
At my lowest point I had a friend/customer come in and we started talking, he said he could tell something was wrong. I explained the whole story and he said a few simple things that if I relayed to you would seem insignificant but for me turned me around.
My life has been on the upswing since - Thanks Mickey
So I had the same result other have finding religion, but I left it

Okay... heregoes.
in answers, I tend to lean more toward a haha funny style than an outright matter of fact style. This has earned me plenty of friends and I'm sure WAY more enemies (2 level 5 accounts deleted so far).
While I was using my previous account (billthakat), I got a visit on my 360 from the user agnosticmom who found me through one of my more sarcastic answers. She (of course) responded to a blog I had written complaining about the very cold temperatures we were having at the time (Wisconsin weather sucks). "I just wanted to let you know that I'm in AZ right now and the temperature is 75- ha ha." We posted a few responses back and forth and eventually we started chatting.
This is the weird part.
from day one (yes right off the bat) we discovered that we thought VERY similarly. We would bring subjects up nearly simultaneously out of the blue. Often times we would both enter our text into messenger and two identical sentences would show up on the screen... there is no way to cheat this one. We used messenger and we had no idea what the other was talking about or was going to type. We just thought on the same wavelength. After a few weeks of this happening very frequently, we decided to keep count one day- the total reached over 15 (in about 2 hours) before we stopped counting.
Finding this to be more amusing (and a little scarey) than originally perceived, we eventually started doing this on the phone as well. Its like we share a brain.
Next month, we get to find out if it happens in person... but this is the weirdest experience I've EVER had with anyone- needless to say we fell in love. :D
SO the short answer:
two unexplainable weird things happened here
-I found someone who seems to think and act nearly identical to me/vice versa. so much so that we actually will say and think a lot of the same things at the same time...
-I actually started a relationship with someone in a religious debate forum... and it was THIS one at that.
Sounds miraculous? I just call it weird.

An Atheist usually is a budhaist. Miracles is always happening. A 75 old man in Tibet, of who can let 20A electric power go though his body and he use his hand to burn a fish and egg. The power can go though his body to light on the light ball. Besides this, he can do no more miracle. When I was young; I knew a young boy 16-20 who can use his own power to light on a light ball. His teacher told him not to show up in the public but he showed in the TV programs 10 years ago. After he always used up his power, he died around 22 years of ages.
When you are calming down to certain level, you will hear or see somethings without useing your eyes and ears. These are not a news. Such as Saint Bosco who ran into fire to save a kid. None part of him was burned. Miracles are existing but not a creator existing. Budha said; don't trust me, proof yourself. He did not said he created world. He said he is a understood creature.
He said every creatures have budi character. Buda; mean a understanding creature only. All creatures in the world are equally.

Well, mankind reaching the moon was pretty miraculous...
I know that science and atheism are not the same thing, but in some respects, they are pretty close. A belief in science and logic can sort of tend to be the "religion" of atheists.
Science and technology have produced tons of stuff that would be considered incredible wonders by people from back in Biblical times.
Of course, the type of miracles you seem to be asking about are sometimes witnessed by atheists. However, instead of miracles, they would be called something like "statistically improbable events".

ok. one that really, really perplexed me was:
one time I was thinking about the scene in "the Matrix" where Neo goes to the Oracle and the child says "there is no spoon", and I'm thinking of this situation, where Neo sits in a restaurant with a bowl of soup, and he calls the waiter and says in Keanu Reeves' deadpan delivery "there is no spoon." OK, so I was riding on my bike, chuckling, when all of a sudden I ride over... a spoon! in the middle of the road. I had never ever seen a spoon or any other cutlery lying on the road before, or after for that matter. And yet there it was, and it was so appropriate to the subject: the spoon exists because it exists in my mind. I actually took it with me, and it's still mindboggling to me that that actually happened.
I suppose it's not actually a life-saving miracle or anything. Still it's a quirky joke the universe played on me, and it makes me smile whenever I think about it.

I appreciate your careful tone. Here is my respectful answer:
What is a miracle? Is that when the laws of physics are broken? When someone proves that natural law (as humans understand it) is broken, it's because a reproducible experiment has been devised. Without a reproducible experiment, how do you know our theories are wrong? With a reproducible experiment, it's not really a "miracle". So the problem with miracles is, you never have proof that a miracle really occurred.

I have this miracle machine in the basement. I put dirty laundry in there, add soap and press a button and half an hour later I take clean laudry out.
If you ever tried washing complete loads of laundry by hand and especially wringing them, you would be properly appreciative of this miracle machine.
If you'd transplant somebody from about 100 years ago, our world is full of labor saving miracles.

I was hit by a SUV as he ran a red light. It spun my car 180 degrees, punching in to the side three feet. I missed being pushed into a telephone pole and crushed by a fraction of a second. I walked away without a scratch. I is nice to be alive.
Every day is a gift. I hope I never forget that Mrs P.

A friend of mine is an atheist. Me and her have many interesting discussions resulting in long nights but we both get huge kicks out of it.
One time she mentioned how I opened up a subject that she was brooding over in a long time. She knew it was more of an impulse for me and I couldnt have known that she was thinking about it so much.
I remember her saying ' this is like a miracle or something' and she smiled. :)
from her point of view, me opening up a subject, especially something she was thinking about for so long was like an answer to her questions. It was a very simple thing, perhaps not even worth mentioning here, but she was extremely happy.
And what is a miracle if it doesnt make u happy?

If someone is very sick, the doctors give him small chance to recover, but are working on him around the clock.
The preacher comes in and says a prayer. The sick person begans to show improvement.
The church will call it a miracle. The hospital calls it good medicine and care.
Real miracles don't happen, except in the imagination.
