Body language can be very powerful. You can act very aloof and make no eye contact. Speak if spoken to but move away quickly. Eventually people will stay away.

Well, you could mess up your hair and start waving your arms around wildly. Waving knives or guns would probably work too. Scary facial expressions would probably do the trick if you don't want to run the risk of police attention. Of course, this is likely to work on 'everyone' rather than just 'someone', so maybe you would want to think about the details. Why not say something, anyway? Better to lay whatever it is out in the open, so there's no chance of misunderstanding.

It all depends on the sex of the person. Women all love to be heard even if it's absolute dumbest of things that they have to say. If it's a "she" you've probably given one too many signs that what she has to say actually interests you. Basically, if you want her to stop, show clear signs that you are not paying attention (without being childish such as pluggin your ears with your fingers and singing, "la la la I can't hear you").
Men on the other hand like to think they are funny. So if it's one of those wisecracking dullards, that you just happen to share floorspace with, then just act completely impervious to his jokes. Generally after the third try, he'll probably assume you have no sense of humor and not come back.

Use your body to tell them. Turn away, never give them the full front of your body...be aware & walk away before they get close to you. Hope they are not dense & will see these signs!

That's just dumb... Speak up. If you don't SAY something they won't know. If you don't tell them, then you deserve what you get.
