hell isnt literally 'hot'. the way it was explained to me,the bible talks about flames and fire because everyone can understand that that is very painfull and hell is pain. but it is also cold and alone. from what i understand, hell isnt a set temperature, its just the most uncomfortable, painfull, and lonesome place imaginable. heaven is, well, heaven. its utopia. the best of the best. you could never ever say, if only it were (warmer/cooler/sunier/stiller/all those things). its perfect.

Ever spoken to a Christian? They're cold as ice, but hot tempered--so, I guess heaven's probably prone to storms and tornadoes; what with the extreme, constant changes in temperature.

The idea of hell being hot was a symbol to represent the loss of God. The Loss of God is greater than the flames of fire. Fire is what we know here on earth that hurts the most. The loss of God will be worse.

The planet Venus is 480 degrees C. Hell has a lake of molten sulfur, which turns into a gas at 444 degrees C. Therefore, Hell must be below 444 degrees C, and Venus is hotter than Hell.

heaven is hotter than hell. this website can explain it much better than i can. it tells the temperature range that hell must be and the temperature range that heaven must be according to the bible.

It's usually just whatever the current temp is in Santa Barbara, CA. , cuz St. Peter sits by the thermostat, keeping it just about perfect, year-round.

One person's hell could be another person's heaven.
