I hope this question is a joke.
Wicca was around long before Silver Ravenwolf. She has contributed very little to its structure or understanding. She's more like the Jim Bakker of Wicca - she figured out how to make it popular and make a buck off of it.
Starhawk is not Wiccan. She is a witch of the Reclaiming and Feri traditions.

Starhawk you have to admire, if for nothing more than practicing what she preaches. She donates so much time and energy to nature-based causes and lives in a sustainable way.
Heck, so many people have read Spiraldance and been inspired by it, I don't think we can really complain that her history of Paganism in it was pretty sloppy. Sure, she's not the most scholarly author, but she is walking what she talks.
As for Silver Ravenwolf... Well, I'm sure she's a nice person, even if her books are insipid and trite.

God, I hope not, unless by "Paul" you mean "Cheezy Exploiter and Trivializer of Their Own Professed Religion" (which, actually, would fit certain revisionist views of Paul I've seen, but I doubt that's where you're headed).
Starhawk, I suppose, might be a better candidate for a Pagan Paul, but I think the metaphor would swiftly break down upon close examination. A better parallel might be to the writings of the early Church Fathers.

I do not wish to offend any of Silver's fans but if you read anything from her it's like a storybook. It's more of what people want to believe of the Craft (the glamourous side) as opposed to how it really is.
Starhawk is a true witch.

I have looked, and i am not a fan.......
It is unwise to accept money for use of the Power, for it quickly controls its taker. Be not as those of other religions.
Use not the Power for prideful gain, for such cheapens the mysteries of Wicca and magick.
Blessed Be!

If we are talking about the "Paul" of solitary Wicca, then I would cast my vote for Scott Cunningham.

I have met Silver personally and she is not a brainless wannabe. Her books are written the way they are because they are aimed at beginners. Also, until apparently no one here has dealt with publishing companies but they are very specific about what they will/will not print. If you think she is getting rich from her books, you really should just visit her once.
