Everywhere I go I see uniformed band people moving around like they are part of the crowd.

They play theme songs from tv shows and Fleetwood Mac songs all day at my house.

Once in a while I will find the remains of snagged pom poms on my door knob or car windows.

I go into stores and can see their Trojan helmets going back and forth in the next aisles.

The other day they dressed my dog up in a little uniform like theirs.

I look out my second story bedroom and can see a cheerleader being thrown up in the air to watch me.

Late at night I can hear horns and drums being played slowly and whispering of cheerleaders at my windows saying, "Are you ready, OK".

Here's your chance to get some agression out. Spit fire and get personal, whoever can manage to offend me the most will get the 'best' answer! So what do ya say to that, PUNK?

Currently the names of the months are those of pagan gods:

January - Janus, two-faced god
February - Febrous, god of de-fibrillators
March - Mars, god of war
April - Avril, goddess of helium and paper airplanes
May - Maia, goddess of fertility
June - Juno, goddess of I forget
July - Julius, god of the back-stab
August - Augusta, son of the god Julius
September - Septima, god of sevens
October - Octo, goddess of eights
November - Nova, god of exploding stars
December - Decius, god of Boxing Day sales.

Were I christian I might ask that they be renamed.

Do you think the names of the twelve disciples would be a good choice?

Baptize all 38 dead presidents? After all they have done it with pretty much every dead celebrity, political figure, ancetsor of any living Mormon (hence the genealogy fixation), and my person favorite, Holocaust Victims!

I have never been baptized but I was saved when I was a teenager. I use to go to a baptist church when I was a teenager and I was saved. There were people who came to my moms house from the church for me to be baptized but my mom had let them know that I wasn't ready to be baptized. My mom had let me know that I did not understand what it was like to be baptized. I was only 18 years old. Does a person have to be baptized to go to heaven? I have known different people who were baptized and they sure don't act like it. My ex husband was one. What happens when a person is baptized? I can still remember being saved and the feeling that came over me the next day. It was a weird feeling. When does a person know when they are ready to be baptized? What does being saved mean? I no longer go to a baptist church but I now go to a Presbyterian church.

To know that there are people with different beliefs and views than yourself?
This is meant for everyone who cannot accept others having different beliefs.

Many Homosexuals and their supporters often call Christians names like “bigot” “Hate monger” “homophobe” etc. Its as though they assume that since Christians believe that homosexuality is sinful they automatically hate and fear all homosexuals.

My question is: “Is it possible for someone to disagree with another person’s lifestyle but not necessarily hate that person?”

If it is possible then why do people automatically assume that Christians hate Gays?

If it is not possible then I guess all Homosexuals and their supporters must hate Christians and therefore they are no better than Christians, they are hateful bigots who cannot tolerate other people’s lifestyle.

Just seems to me that tolerance should be a two way street.

In essence, they did just the same thing (with equal amounts of proof.) So before you insult Mormons, take a good look at yourself.

Now while I don't quite believe the whole trinity thing myself I have a hard time figuring out where you get Jesus is Michael.

Scriptual proofs only - I won't accept extra-biblical sources for this one.

Here is one that shows he isn't any kind of angel:

Hebrews 1:4-6 (NASB)
1:4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.
1:5 For to which of the angels did He ever say, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"? And again, "I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"?
1:6 And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, "AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM."

I know forgiveness is possible, but sometimes it seems almost ridiculous in extreme cases.

Am I supposed to forgive Bin Laden for his murder, Al-Zarqawi for murdering people live on camera and broadcasting it over the Internet, Hitler for killing millions?

I hear about people forgiving someone who has killed their child and I wonder if they're just saying that to be a good Christian or if they actually forgive them.

When Jesus spoke of the rapture, He said two shall be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left. He also said, He comes as a thief in the night. The rapture will occur as a twinkling of the eye (fast)..but Jesus knew that some areas it would be night and other areas it would be day. I know some might discount this as figurative speaking..but I think Jesus knew..how about you?

He could have made it anything he wanted....like a place of redemption and learning. Does this desire to inflict never-ending torment, rather than reform, say something about the nature of god?

How can you make sure that the church you are attending is biblical.

If all of the churches can interpret the bible in a certain light how then can you be sure that you are going to the right one.

Second is the first question really a big deal. As long a sa church believes that Christ is the only way to salvation is that ok.

All other points of Dogma would be just style and substance as the core is the same.

am I right in thinking this and again how can an individual claim to have absolute truth when others with different views claim the same.
