Typically I don't care what another person believes. God, no God, liberal, conservative, communist, it doesn't matter to me until they try to force their beliefs on me.
Some people need to learn that most other people DO NOT CARE what their personal beliefs are.

I think people should be free to believe or not believe as they wish. It only bothers me when theists try to inject their religion into schools, politics and government, which are all things for all the people of this country. They don't seem to understand that there are people with different viewpoints. Mind you, this is not every religious person, just a certain group.

I have no problem with people having different beliefs. I just don't want them pushing their beliefs on me. And most religions feel the need to "share".

Most people who appear to be anti-religion don't really care what another person does in his own space. The problem is when religionists try to make their beliefs public policy. This happens all of the time. That is what spurns me to action.

Because they so desperately want to be right. They can't have confidence in their own beliefs unless they can "convince" everyone and force their beliefs upon others.

I am a Christian. I am just confused that whenever I express MY beliefs that I am called close minded by those of other religions that are spreading their beliefs! Kinda hypocritical don't u think? And all those new agers who tell us all we create our own reality and then they run into Christians and get mad! Wow, more contradictions! Lol. Face it, we all have our own beliefs and we all want to share them. What's wrong with that?

Good question, and thanks!
I accept and respect anyone's beliefs. Just leave me alone and let me be free to worship Jesus.

For those who are "bothered," it is due to insecurity. Atheism and religion are generally perceived to undermine and contradict eachother. Bashing the other side of the coin helps them to reassure themselves of the validity of their stance.

Doesn't bother me at all so long as they don't bash my beliefs.
