I'm referring to Psalms 13:16 and the story of Lazarus being raised from the dead.

Oops, it's a typo. Psalms 139:16 means predestination.

Oh man the Lazarus story is so crazy. Why did Laz get a second chance that nobody else did? Did Jesus like Laz better than me? And isn't dieing a christian reward? So did Laz get to heaven then get the big boot and have to come back to this suck fest? I would be so PO'd. Jesus was so willing to screw with people just to make a point. He was kinda jerky that way. So yeah I guess Laz had to preplanned deaths. Or since they never say he died a second time maybe he's still kicking out there some where.

That's a good question- i never thought of that. Well, yes it looks like God planned 2 deaths for Lazarus and for other people in the bible who have been raised from the dead.

I believe that God does know when everyone will die, I beleive he knows when everything will happen. Some would argue if God knows things that have not happened yet it forces that person to act in the way he knows, which I disagree with.

It seems Lazarus was used by God as an example of his power. Jesus knew that he would raise him from the dead.

He was preplanned to be raised from the dead to show the people that Jesus had the power over death.

That's a great question....

God has ordained everything to be so.

So in Lazarus' case.....yes....it was all planned ahead of time for the glory of God

in the beginning, we live in a fallen international, via that I advise this international is sinful and isn't how God needed it to be. suffering is geared up in many varieties and as long as corruption exists on the earth (fallen international), there'll be suffering. mutually as some human beings dying youthful may well be a results of their very own movements, from time to time that's the end results of people’s movements, the place as each and every so usually toddlers die in basic terms as a results of fact they die (leukaemia case in point), this very final case is the end results of living in a international it truly is broken (a international that God supplies he will fix it to perfection whilst he returns). yet another concern to keep in mind is that in basic terms as a results of fact God has the stable plans for us, this doesn’t advise we continuously follow them. case in point if i became making use of at 100mph spun out, hit a tree and died, i think that wouldn’t be in God’s plan for my existence, yet he nevertheless gave me the choice to try this action (unfastened will). yet I completely believe that the plans God does have for us are ‘plans for stable and not for disaster, to grant us a wish and a destiny’; from time to time in spite of the incontrovertible fact that we’re not living in those plans he has for us. the main suitable plan that God has for each and each human in the international in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, is that we live in dating with him (this would then supply us a wish and a destiny for eternity). Will this be the case for each human... NO – as a results of fact not each and every physique chooses to follow the want of God and settle for His advantages.

--WHY DOES (Psalm 13:6) “. . .I will sing to Jehovah, for he has dealt rewardingly with me.”
--HAVE TO MEAN preplanned deaths, especially so because of this truth:
(Ecclesiastes 9:11) “. . .I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all. . .”

--TIME & UNFORSEEN OCCURRENCE is the way life is at present, God is not a god of dentiny , never has been, and never will be simply because he has given us free will to live with.
((Isaiah 65:11) “. . .“But YOU men are those leaving Jehovah, those forgetting my holy mountain, those setting in order a table for the god of Good Luck and those filling up mixed wine for the god of Destiny.”

--LAZARUS died a natural death, having nothing to do with God's will and was resurrected by Christ & then he died of old age as far as I know.
--THERE IS no taken peoples lives away to a happy hunting ground or heaven, by God as religion has taught falsely as predestination.
--AS FOR premature deaths that people are extremely fearful of this is the one who has controlled that function at God's toleration for now:
(Hebrews 2:14-15) “14 Therefore, since the “young children” are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly partook of the same things, that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil; 15 and [that] he might emancipate all those who for fear of death were subject to slavery all through their lives.”

--JESUS DEATH has the power to turn the fear of death & death to nothing in the future in ref. to his promise ".......thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven......" & this great hope ahead for all faithful mankind:
(1 Corinthians 15:25-28) “25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the LAST ENEMY DEATH (my caps-we inherited from Adam)is to be brought to nothing. 27 For [God] “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.”
--THAT IS THE BIBLE HOPE as is expressed here in detail:
(Revelation 21:3-5) “3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and DEATH WILL BE NO MORE(my caps), neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” 5 And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new.” Also, he says: “Write, because these words are faithful and true.. . .”
--IF YOU NOTICED the blessings come from God toward mankind, not for mankind going to heaven for the blessings, as was stated ".........thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven...."
--THIS IS THE BIBLES presentation of forseen circumstances as God & his Son have promised!
