When Jesus spoke of the rapture, He said two shall be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left. He also said, He comes as a thief in the night. The rapture will occur as a twinkling of the eye (fast)..but Jesus knew that some areas it would be night and other areas it would be day. I know some might discount this as figurative speaking..but I think Jesus knew..how about you?

J. I agree with you, but in Matthew 25 the Bible tells that the maids (who were waiting on the bridegroom) slept. The bridgegroom came at midnight.

It will be a world wide occurrence at the same moment, and it depends on where a person is at, as to what time of day it is for that person, that is what Jesus is telling us. It will not be a time set, nor a specific geographical place. It will be night in some places, and noon in others. When we go to bed at night, we lock the doors, and secure the windows, against a possible burglar, We should make sure we are ready, if the rapture come while asleep, or the next day. Be Ready!

actually, there have been no time zones in his day. in actuality there have been no clocks as all of us understand them. evening became previous due at night, not 12:00 am. He generally observed that it became night each and every from time to time and day each and every from time to time. it rather is not likely that as he travelled that he might have observed that night became at diverse situations in one area than yet another. after all, there have been no clocks, in step with se. Time became desperate by making use of the situation of the solar, stars, and with various timers. He could have understood from the works of philosophers that the day in lands to the west became after the day in the lands to the east, yet he probable did not spend a lot time aggravating approximately that. He additionally does not have quantified it in any significant way. He did not ought to. Time became relative then, that's greater absolute now. be careful approximately employing contemporary expertise to ancients. the worldwide of Jesus became somewhat constrained in comparison to right this moment. issues have been slower then, and such issues as time oftentimes have been much less precisely nicely-known, measured, or maybe tracked.

its figurative speaking.. sorry if thats not what you want as an answer, but its the truth. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 says he will come as a thief in the night. thieves come at night so you wont know they are coming and its referring to when he comes you wont know because it will be in a twinkling of an eye.

I think you see what you want to see. If you really want to prove your point, show me the biblical reference to an international date line and how many hours separate EST from GMT. Otherwise, you have nothing but wishful thinking.
