the respectful messages are from us liberals. we understand that for the most part that our redneck conservatives hate anything that isnt a white american.

just think of it this way. we have the extremists basically as much as you do. we have smart compassionate people just as much as you do.

once the extremists from both sides realize that, peace will be closer towards us.

though hopefully it will happen

Americans are dying in Iraq fighting terrorists not Muslims. If they were just killing Muslims a lot less Americans would be dying. We could completely take out the country and forget all the good Muslim people. Since it is hard to determine good men from bad men Americans are dying trying to protect the good from the bad. You do realize that Muslims are killing Muslims as well as Americans? Our soldiers are trying not to harm the innocent while taking out the terrorists. To say it is easy is to not understand what is going on at all.

Hey I do not think Muslims are bad. I think you have a right to worship in the way you want to who you want. I might disagree and worship my God, but to me it does not make you bad or evil, you just worship in the way you want, we all have that choice to make. I also do not think all Muslims are extremists, that is foolish, but I wish there was more condemnation for those extremists. What America is doing in Iraq is wrong in my opinion, there could have been other ways to deal with Saddam, and there where lies told to get the public onside in this war.
As for being happy killing Muslims, well you would have to be quite sick to enjoy doing that to innocent people. Those who want to kill though, they live by the sword, they will die by it, if that is what their goal is.

america is only part of this world.. it is not "the world" .. i don hav any problem with muslims, i have plenty of muslim friends and i work with some too.. they r such sweet hearts.. the world jus got the wrong picture coz of the trade centre issue.. do not burden urself with thoughts like this.. live and let live.. empty vessels make the most noise, so when u hear any rude comment, jus ignore it.. im a christian and more than believing in it as a religion i think of it as an act of mercy and kindness that we show the ones around us.. religion was made to mould a human not to debate on the power n goodness of the higher powers.. u can't change the world, but u urself could do good to others and make them notice what it is all about.. so don mind chattering monkeys and their endless talk..

Why do you want answers from "Christians" when you talk about what "Americans" are doing? Not all Americans are Christians!
I guess if you really look at your question where you are asking "why people (example gave was Americans) hate Muslims" YOU are generalizing a whole country/belief, it seems to me that it's NOT why do Americans hate Muslims but why do YOU hate Americans/Christians?
No matter what you read on YA you will always find someone, somewhere who will hate something.

ADD ON:
you have 3 options:
1) stay off of YA if you don't like what you read
2) stand firm on what you believe and are able to back it up
3) do something about it instead of bit**ing about it.

You want an answer from a Christain, you now have one, Look at 9/11, look at the other times you muslims try to bomb America's interest, Not you sit back after 9/11 & cry, we are invading your land, No we are not, you invaded our's, I don't see One American solider hiding behind a women or a child as a barrier to keep us from killing you, Why do you all like to hide behind your women & children for protection. Why do you now cry wolf, Let's get the facts straight, You hit us first & because of Bill Clinton too scare to do anything when he was in office, you thought President bush would not do nothing, I will tell you right now, If I was President of the United States, I would have Nuked all the terrorists with a nuke & get it over once & for all, Japan did not think in WW2 we would do anything after Pearl Harbor.

Strange how you condemn judging all Muslims to be the same even while you are doing that same thing to Christians.

Islam is the brother of Christianity. Islam, Christianity and Judaism all go back to Abraham. The religions are very similar with the main disagreement just being on who the Messiah is.

I don't think they are all bad. I respect other people's beliefs.
Have you spoken with every Christian in the world?
Not everyone is mean and nasty. There are disagreements, yes, but I doubt that 100% of the comments you have read are unkind.
It's unfair of you to generalize like that and lump us all together. As you say, if SOME people are "extremist" in their views, how can you say ALL people are like them? If some people have been mean, how can you say ALL of them have been mean?
You are being just like the ones you criticize.

have a nice afternoon.

You need to study your religion carefully because it teaches to kill those that don't conform to the Muslim faith. We believe that everyone should have a right to believe as they wish, whether right or wrong. I don't believe Muslims are bad people, although they're deceived into believing in something false. Christianity is the word of God, and Jesus is the only way. Nobody can obey the ten commandments fully therefore everyone needs a saviour.

I consider myself to be a Christian and I have no oppinion of Muslims. I don't personaly know any Muslims so how can I have any feelings one way or the other? You are right- there are some Muslims who are terrorists, but there are also plenty of other races who have done equally terrorizing things. How about Timothy McVay? He was white and I consider him to be a terrorist. As far as the religion aspect goes, to each his own....

I am a Christian and this Muslim hating movement ties into politics, and 9/11 and all that stuff. I stay out of politics. I have no problem with Muslims or anyone else that is different from me. As a Christian, I am commanded by Jesus to spread the good news of the gospel. I do not chase people down to do this (Jesus didn't do this). Now, if a Muslim walks by, asks me how I'm doing, I am going to tell Him how Jesus works in my life and leave it at that. Jesus doesn't want people to be forced to believe in Him. Hope this helps ;-)
