I am pre-trib. I only have one set of circumstances to back it up, but I thought it was pretty convincing...... At the END of the Tribulation period towards the end of Armageddon, the Scripture speaks of Jesus' return with ".....a great cloud of witnesses...." Just WHO are these witnesses? They're not angels, for angels have never had to be witnesses for anything! They already know the truth about God and etc...It couldn't be anyone living, for they're still on Earth. That leaves only one possibility, the CHURCH! They HAD to be Raptured BEFORE the Tribulation began, because you can't RETURN WITH something that you hadn't already TAKEN AWAY! I know this may or may not clear anything up for you, but I hope it helps.

The teaching of the rapture is inaccurate. If you read Rev 7 about the Great Crowd that come out of the Great Tribulation you may understand that the great tribulation came upon earth. (Matt 24:21-)
Thus these are survivors here on earth, and as DRC Bible states, Christ shall rule these, and as Rev 5:10 shows, the Saints also together with Christ shall rule the earth.
Dan 7:13-, and Psalms 72, also show that Christ's rule over the earth will be forever.
Thus, after the Great Tribulation, Matt 24:29-32 shows that Christ will send his angels and collect the Elect, the Chosen ones, the Saints, the Born Again from all around the earth. These remaining Saints shall be changed in a moment at the last trumpet -- nobody else.

I've always leaned towards pre-trib myself
I use 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
&
1 Corinthians 15:51-58
Scripture as a whole points to believers being pulled out before a time of judgment. We will not face the great white throne judgment mentioned in Revelation.....that is reserved for non-believers.

I don't believe it will happen - I think it is poor theology that is an incorrect interpretation of a first century political writing. My concern is that "end times" theology allows people to sluff off their responsibilities as Christians to be stewards of the Earth, and of each other. I believe that the second coming of Christ is occuring every day in the works that his body on Earth (the followers of Christ - regardless of denomination) are doing. In other words he comes to the world through us, in the sense that 'what we do for others, we do for him'. Peace.

It will happen at exactly nine minutes past eleven on... wait, what am I thinking? To find out exactly when, sell your house and send the money by cheque to: "The New and Totally Proper Church of Rapture Preparedness," or to myself, Rev. Olay PingPing Jesus Warbling-banjo-Pope Lord God Johnson the Completely Sane.

I am a Christian and my belief is that every time a person is saved, they are ruptured. There is not going to be any event called, "The Rapture".

I dunno if it will really happen. I just know, it might be a good thing if it does. Wipe the Earth clean so we can start over. However, all things in moderation of course..
