Many people wish they could do certain things. For example i want to learn how to play the guitar others learn how to dance etc so what do you guys out there want to learn? I'm having a problem seeing how Christians can believe in the Bible and intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. It would be an amazing coincidence if every planet had the Bible. So can people believe in the Bible and aliens? I guess that's my first question.

This question is aimed at fellow christians.
If a christian were to commit suicide would they still be allowed to enter heaven? Are there any scriptures that can back that up?

Also, is it truly possible to fall away from God? And how would one know if they truly did fall away? Likewise, how would one know that they're still saved?
I'd greatly appreciate the answers.

in my religion, i try to live a very green life. try to give back to mother earth. help other people. being caring, generous, etc. love others.

i know, u probably are thinking that i am a hippie, but i don't consider myself one. i am just another human being trying to do my part.

I always wondered why most Christians are supportive of war, most recently the war in Iraq. I grew up in a Christian home where war was seen as an avenue to peace. War and peace seem like opposites to me.

I have read the bible extensively and looking at Jesus' life, it seems that he stood for peace; love your neighbor, turn the other cheek, blessed are the peacemakers. What I want to know is why Christians today seem to overwhelmingly support war, as well as political leaders that support war and violence? I am stating this as a generality, as there are lots of Christians I am sure who do not support war.

If people say they are Christians (christ followers, little christs) shouldn't they be following in the footsteps of peace and love as Jesus did, instead of continuing to segregate and cause divisions among people?

How many of you actually do what God wants you to do and not what you yourself want to do?What I mean is God tells us to obey his commandments ,thy shall not commit murder but to have any hatred in your heart his committing murder with your heart, thy shall not commit adultry but to lust in your heart you have already committed adultry.So what do you say,but God I didn't touch her or him I only looked for a second,there for wouldn't you be doing what you wanted and not what God wanted?God gives us choices I know that but if we Christians really had God in our hearts wouldn't we do the right thing?I am really curiuse on your thoughts

For over a year, my grandparents and I haven't talked because of an argument we had (very complicated). Recently, I recieved a letter in the mail talking about all of the troubles they have with the dog passing, and my 91 year old great grandmother. At the end of the letter, she mentioned a picninc they were having to celebrate me and my grandmothers birthdays together because they are 4 days apart. So, I called her up and asked what time I was to be expected and stuff. She was all somber and sounded like she couldnt give a crap, but in all actuality said she was waiting on my grandfathers mother to basically RSVP. I told her to call me back to let me know so I could arrange my work schedual. Here it is, a week and a half later and I still have to reply. I left a message 2 days ago and there is still no reply. I am getting pretty ticked off because I am making an effort to go to this and am getting nothing in return! I dont know what to do!? I feel I should make right and catch up

This is for christians. I just recently became a christian and I have a question... do you really believe that ppl who dont believe in Jesus go to hell?? Cuz some of the ppl I love most dont believe and I dont want them to go to hell. How can I help them?? I really want to know how to help people who dont believe. Any advice would be appreciated. have you ever stop to think maybe satan was the true god? this could explain why the world is so messed up. you know just the way it is except god is lower. once again im not trying to put anyone or your god down. this is just a thought that came to me. how do you feel about this?
