The idea of eternal torment and a benevolent, all-loving God are irreconcilable. I think you can understand this.

That being said, there are Christians who use the Bible to back up the position that no one suffers forever, but some will simply cease to exist. First, however, they will be given a chance to believe in God after seeing it for themselves. If they reject it still, it seems that God will judge them as only able to harm themselves or others, so it will "have to" end their existence without pain. Most people WON'T reject, though, which makes sense.

And then there are those who think everyone will be saved.

Christianity is very broad; just look at how many denominations there are. And yes, there are real denominations that believe this, it's not just a few people scattered across the world.

Many Christians simply accept what they were raised to believe and taught in church. Even if they read the Bible to find out for themselves, their outlook is biased because of what they have been instructed to believe. They will see things that are not there, or fail to see things that are. This may be one of them.

If you want your friends to be Christians you won't be able to do it by quoting scripture and other evangelizing tactics. Talk to them about what being a Christian has done to change and improved your life. How it has helped you in the hard times or when you had no one else to turn to. Practice what you preach so they can see that your Christianity is real.

Jesus says that if you don't believe in me you will not go to heaven. There is no mention of hell. But God says he forgives all. I'll go with God. But to be truly honest I really don't know. Religion is one of the most complex and emotional things to discuss with others, even those who believe the same as you.
Do the best you can to convince them, but there is no simple answer as to how to do it. So concentrate on being the best Christian you can. That's hard enough.

i truely believe tht ppl who do not believe in Jesus will go to Hell. but u have to be judged by God and if u deny him to anyone then u will be sent there. God gives everyone a fair chance but being a Christian really just insures ur place in Heaven. my advice would be to tell them how God has changed u and tell them the differences u feel as a Christian and then after that all u can do is to pray for them. Remember God works in mysterious ways!

Well, the thing is you're wrong... there is no God. But your heart is in the right place, and your course of action should be the same either way. Learn your case... learn everything you can about the issue, and start trying to logically persuade people of your position. You should start with evolution - study it until you are positive that humans evolved. Then start worrying about why the Bible contradicts evolution and the related body of science. (plate tectonics and even cosmic evolution) That's a difficult problem. Once you accept that all Christian Bibles contain major errors, you need to ask what the root of your belief is. If you get there and still want my help, email me through here.

God gave us a moral sense that nudges us once we are doing anything fallacious, concentrate to it. If you suppose dangerous approximately what you're doing that suggests YOU SHOULD NOT DO IT!!!! You do not reside your lifestyles by means of what different persons do, you reside your lifestyles by means of what you understand to be proper. It is on no account a well Idea to make films of yourself doing whatever sexual as it may well get into the fallacious palms and finally end up on the web for the entire international to peer adding your boss and it may well price you your process. It will continuously come again and chew you within the in the back of. DON'T DO IT!

One of the major factors, of any religion, is fear. People will be good if they fear going to hell. Considering the fact that Christians are a small number when you take in 6 billion people at last count. Hell was promoted to recruit Christians and it still is to this day.

If your non-Christian friends etc live a decent good life there is a good possibility that they will never see Hell.

My preacher said only believe in Jesus is the key to Heaven, no matter good or bad that person.
Maybe heaven has a scale 1-7, because what about bad people who believe in Jesus and still go to heaven?
duh..

St. John 3: 5
: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

You will have to pray and demonstrate a christian's lifestyle

When problems arise do not panic but remember to pray and find comfort in His words
If they see a change in you maybe they will want to know who caused this change

Witness to them
Have Bible studies around them but remember to be tolerant.

Give them pieces of Literature.

If you need any other help I will be happy to assist.

I am going to add you to my contact/fans list

My opinion is,good people won't end up in hell, even though they don't believe in God.Some people have been kind and harmless all their lives , and just because they are not believers you think God will send them to hell?God will be too kind to do a thing like that. I am a Christian myself.

As Christ said calling him Lord,Lord is meaningless -I wouldn't worry about your friends--The only condition Christ stated was obeying the commandment of treating everyone the way you would like to be treated--if they naturally live that way they will have no problems--However I'm not too sure about some of the judgemental Christian bigots I've encounted on this site!!
