I heard that in an Easter sermon this year. The pastor said he didn't think the electric chair would hold the same significance as the cross, so the fad probably wouldn't catch on.

Hey I know the point your makeing, its great that you pointed it out. Jehovah's Witnesses don't wear a cross. If someone shot my son with a gun do you think I would want people to wear a the muder weapon a gun to remember him. No way!

The answer is "no." The cross was a symbol of salvation long before Christ.

I've heard that one before.
I don't see the CROSS as something that killed JESUS. The bible says he gave up his life for us upon the cross of Calvery.
The cross reminds me of Jesus being sacrificed for my sins.
But it doesn't matter anyway what you wear. God knows our heart.
