what is your definition of race?
need to collect various ppls opinions for a hw assignment so i'd really appreciate ur input. thanks a bunch!

Race is a now debunked concept that there are separate species of humans. Things such as skin color were part of what determined separate races.
Ethnicity is the more recent concept which takes different aspects of peoples lives and origins to make a differentiation from others of different backgrounds.
Race is still often used, mostly by the definition of ethnicity though, although not seen as a biological definition it does tend to focus more of physical traits.

..there is only 1 definition of *race* its not someones opinion
theres 3 races .. caucasoid, mongoloid and *******.
another words.. black white and asian.
well nowadays.. sometimes indian is considered a race.. so the 4 races would be black, white, yellow (asian), and red (indian)
Many people do NOT like to admit that there is such thing as *race* .. perhaps because they do not like to seperate ourselves from eachother. But there is no seperation.. we are all the same.. we all have the same wants and needs.
BUT scientifcally speaking.. There ARE differences between the races.. and it is not negative .. nor does it have anything to do with racism.. its just part of our evolution

Race is a way of grouping people based on individuals' perception on whatever "race" is. It is usually based on either the way a person looks or their perceived ancestry.

Race is something you were born with. Some people get a hot race and some people are unlucky and their born white. Its all about the luck you have when your born. Some people have more luck then others but its important to just deal with it if you got dealt a bad card when you were born.
