Fiction (myth) or reality.?
It has been believed by some historians and laymen that Mahabharat is just a fictitious fable emerged from the fantastic brain of the Sage Ved Vyas. It has been contended that such a 'war' could not have occured owing to the detailed description of various facets of the 'epic'. However, tradition as well as many Bharatiya scholars have all along maintained that Mahabharat did actually occur and is a complete reality.
so what do you think about it.?

at work a massager comes in,
and the list is not full up because lots of people are on holiday, they need to fill it up so the massager can get her money,

My dad has to get out of jury service as he has his own business as a tattoo artist and cannot afford to take a couple of weeks off to complete it. Can anyone tell me anything to help him get out of it because this isn't working!!!

Those that are former members know all too well how difficult it is to leave the JW'S. What about if you are thinking about leaving the JW's is there a easy way out? To fade away or disassociate, disfellowship yourself is the question? In recent years most members have slowly faded away without anyone noticing! Put simply most don't bother going through the JW elders judicial judging process anymore. Is it best to go quietly or make a big scene when you decide it is time to find a real life outside the JW'S?

Christians claim that we humans are created by God and
we are the way we are and look the way we look because
God designed each and everyone according to his will.
Did i miss something? Did God intend for gays and lesbians
to populate at least 30% of human population?
Where in the Bible did God say "Oh my sons, you shall poke each others assets with your holy sticks!" and "Oh my daughters, you shall finger each other ever so gengly!"
The point is, gays were created by God and when they go
to heaven they will still be gay because God created Gays
to his own design and Gays should be proud of what God
has made them. RIght?

Christians? hello Christains? I have a question.
How do you know that the Bible is true and not made up?
How do you know that all Religions besides Christianity
is false?
How do you know that the miracles happening to you is
by God's answering and not a coincidence?
Faith?
How do you know that your faith is real?
Seriously? The Bible is unreliable because you never knew
if any false prophet had a hand on the Bible. You are reading a Bible claimed to be written by God's will, yet you can never be sure that it is legitimate.
Even if God existed and intended on a Bible to be written but how can you be so sure that the very Bible you are reading is that of God's and not some false prophets? Maybe there is a hidden Bible that is the real one. How can you know?
You claim faith? You claim miracles from praying?
How can you be so sure those miracles(coincidence, luck) would not have occured despite your faith or prayers?
How can you know?

i have often wondered why people (or their parents) with perfectly good and decent ethnic names choose to append a Judeo-Christian prefix.

as an example, the ethnic chinese (even those without any affiliation to Christianity) do this. e.g. Wong Su-Yi becomes Sarah Wong.

the usual reason given is that it's "easier to pronounce/remember/call". but i wonder if there are any deeper issues they are grappling with. is it possible that having a so-called Christian name more closely identifies a person with being Caucasian, with all the perceived "superiority" it implies? a post-colonial phenomena perhaps?

i don't get it. do you?

Her Sons play with my Sons once in a while. If I utilize caller id and skip her call, she'll call 8 or 9 times and then just come on over! Her 14 year old calls too, so between the 2 of them my ringer has to be turned OFF. I'm reaching my limit.

If I answer and talk to her she'll talk endlessly about immature content and refuse my requests to end the call. We're the same age...she's just very shallow and immature.

She actually BOUGHT me a cheap phone a couple days ago because she thinks I can't "hear" the phone when she calls. I think she's pis*ed because I'm not available to her at her every whim.

She always brings me used clothing, shoes, etc., as a way to come over. I'm not a person who needs a lot of conversation, I despise the phone. I have a husband and three sons. I'm BUSY! She, too, has a hubby and 3 boys. Hubby travels a lot.

I'm giving the phone back to her tomorrow...what should I say when I hand the phone back to her?
