No it is not a trap, he died in may 3 2005. He was my life. I have had a very hard time dealing with it. and I do have a gift, but dont understand it completly, yet so many seem to be able to use it with no problem, and understand it. I dont believe everybody can use it. Thats why I ask, I want proof I guess that I am not crazy, that he is still around, somehow make sence of it all,. to know I am not going to hell because Of this so called gift. Tell me something about Dave, I will know if it is him or Not. Then and only then can I choose what path I will take. and if I feel you are wrong, you have my word I will not post it here. this is for my personal reasons. because I have this gift I do know what it is like to be made fun of and called crazy, I wont do that to others.

We all realise that creationists must shun so many basic priciples of mainstream science in order to defend their beliefs, but this question deal with timescales and dating methods.
We are aware of the usual attacks on C-14 dating methods, and of the missrepresentations creationists make about it, but there are many other independant dating techniques, all of which corroborate and cross refence each other..

Creationists are aware of mainstream scientific chrononlogical timescales, even if they deny their validity, however these many dating methods are the cornerstone of mainstream scientific timescales, from hours ago, to billions of years ago.

The question for creationists is, would you please name any of the many OTHER dating techniques, and outline where it is flawed, in your opinion..?

Presumably you must know all about them to know they are flawed..?

You will not believe what I found out about Joseph Smith.

Joseph Smith had a child bride as young as 14. In the 1800's 14 was still a child. It's easy to trace Civil War genealogy and my ancestors didn't marry teenagers but then I am not descended from people like Mr. Smith.Not letting girls make that choice is just wrong even if the parents are the ones doing it!

I always thought that the HBO hit series, "Big Love" was fiction but when I heard of Joseph Smith doing the child bride thing I realized that he must have been sick in the head.

I found this link in another Yahoo answers question. It really made me sick to know that 12 in a half million people honor a pedophile. I am glad that today these kind of sickos end up in jail!

But that's okay. We all know that the Buck is Almighty God and if you have to trash your Creator's Creation to make one well, that's what a job description is for.

Can't serve two masters and by their fruits you'll know them.

Looks like the Creator lost as His creation is being royally trashed by his worshippers.

anyway, if you haven't heard about him yet, he walks up and down the street next to the walmart here wearing a sandwich board with misspelled scripture on it that also says god came to him in a dream and told him to preach through the dummy.

he drives around in a camper covered in misspelled scripture. (and i suspect he lives in it too)

he prefers walmart but i've seen him at mcdonald's a couple of times too.

anyway, i haven't seen him around in a while. do you think he was raptured?

So I like to wear a lot of bracelets at a time, like 25, and people often comment on them. I'm fine with this, but what do I say in reply? People just sort of say, "Wow. That's a lot of bracelets." and I usually say something kind of stupid like "Um. Yeah. It is."

Okay so in chapter 8,
It says that EVERYTHING we do is basically worship.
And that even listening to the sermon is part of worship.
And it also says that if you ever said "'I didn't get anything out of worship today'" That you worshipped for the wrong reason, because its for God's benefit, not yours.
But why if you WERE listening to the sermon but you just couldn't understand the point of the sermon, and it didn't make sense?
How can you do that for God if you don't understand it?
But yeah,
Idk if that made sense or not,
but hopefully someone can answer me?

I dont get it, when Christians are asked questions to justify thier faith and belief they rise to ocassion, they really fight for what they believe, even the the onces who dont believe fight for what they believe, but ask the psychics and meduims a question, give them a chance to fight for what they believe and they dont say word. What does that tell you?

At times it's hard to tell when somebody is putting you on, but trolls come up with some pretty outrageous stuff that is just too dumb to believe. Recently, one managed to get nearly 70 answers to his "confession" and the answers were so sincere! They told him it was illegal it and that he was lower than pond scum. Actually, he will grow up someday, hopefully. Meanwhile, there is a lot of tongue-in-cheek stuff in here...don't fall for everthing!

I thought Christianity was named after Christ, unless the author of the article was talking about the church that eventually started it all, since I think his assumption was that the whole Christ thing is fake anyway....
