I'm a huge fan of the manga 'Loveless' but those japanese names are confusing! How do you pronounce the name 'Natsuo'?

japanese pronunciation is pretty easy because it's spelled exactly like it sounds (most of the time) so it's pronounced NA-TSU-O the U at the end is only there to elongate the sound of the O. The TSU can be pronounced at the tip of your tounge and just say the T sound until it just melts into the S sound. kind of hard to explain. probably easier to just say NOT-SUE-OHH. But say NOT SUE really quickly.

naht (the na is like NAH like... ah) or "not"
sue
oh

really the t and s aren't separated but i did it like that so it'd be easier for you.

keep the oh short and don't put a y oh the beginning of it.

Pronounce every syllable with the same strength. Don't put any emphasis on the NA part. Or the TSU part. or the OH part for that matter...
