So I like to wear a lot of bracelets at a time, like 25, and people often comment on them. I'm fine with this, but what do I say in reply? People just sort of say, "Wow. That's a lot of bracelets." and I usually say something kind of stupid like "Um. Yeah. It is."
Is there something better I can say?

I probably have a darker sense of humor than you do. If someone asks me a question like that I like to come up with a totally bizarre answer. Like:

"I sold bracelets in the streets of Calcutta when I was a child. I sort of got used to the habit. This one is only $3.00..."

or

"I'm in a cult. We worship the Goddess Braceletta"

or

"I wear one bracelet for each person I have killed"

or

"What are you talking about? I'm not wearing any bracelets"

or

"These aren't bracelets. These are orthopedic devices. Thanks for pointing out my handicap."

or

"Yeah, I'm a total klepto. I stole these all today."

or

"You have remarkable observation skills."

You may not feel comfortable saying anything like these responses. But I'm kinda a natural smarta** so that's the kind of thing I would say...

You are a special person, an individualist in a way.

Wearing jewelry is common, but it sounds like this is your tradmark. If you don't know what to reply, it sounds like you are disregarding something. You are having fun, no doubt, with the bracelets. That's fine.

Have you though about wearing a few of the same material (plastic, gold, silver, etc.) together and save the others to wear the next day in another group? This may show smart style and a flair for "keeping it together" or "keeping it real". Otherwise, your mixing of the metals, with plastics, with woods, or leather, etc. with give a flip that is harder to understand. That is why so many comments....it isn't a bad thing to wear so many.

When you mix the same materials everday, you are just dressing out of habit, not our of careful thought.

Maybe say something like, "yes, I do have a lot of bracelets and I really like them"...or you could say, "yes I do and each bracelet has a special meaning to me" Or you could be a little sarcastic and say...."very good observation" or you could throw in a little humor and say "you think? I was thinking I needed a few more"

If you have a favourite one or if one was difficult to obtain, for example, tell them its story if they seem interested. Jewelry can hold some surprisingly interesting stories.

top of head answer....and why are you asking/commenting ?? grin
perhaps better to say "thank you for admiring them, I really enjoy them and you made me feel good by noticing.."

Say something like "Yeah, I couldn't pick just one" or "I just love them, i don't feel right if i'm not wearing them".

Say, "yes it is. Do you like them?"

you could ask them what their opinion is about how many bracelets you wear. Such as "So do you like it or not?"
