We are created by God?

Question

Christians claim that we humans are created by God and
we are the way we are and look the way we look because
God designed each and everyone according to his will.
Did i miss something? Did God intend for gays and lesbians
to populate at least 30% of human population?
Where in the Bible did God say "Oh my sons, you shall poke each others assets with your holy sticks!" and "Oh my daughters, you shall finger each other ever so gengly!"
The point is, gays were created by God and when they go
to heaven they will still be gay because God created Gays
to his own design and Gays should be proud of what God
has made them. RIght?

If you are not intelligent enough to know that being gay is not of choice, but mostly being genetical and stimulated by enviornment, then stfu!

You say that homosexuals do not choose to be so. Where's the proof of that?
I assume you're saying that homosexuality is in the genes. There's never been one iota of proof of that(at least that I've seen). They've done identity twin studies since the 1950's. One study in Australia has almost 15,000 identical twins they've studied. Everytime identical twins are born they follow them up until they are adults to see if one of them becomes gay. If homosexuality is in the genes then whenever one is gay then the other should be gay 100% of the time(since identical twins have identical genes). The studies have shown the opposite. Whenever one is gay, at least 70% of the time the other is heterosexual. On the 15,000 twin study I think the results were when one is gay the other is heterosexual 78% of the time. Also, in this day and age, everyone seems to believe in evolution. Evolution is fueled by natural selection(survival of the fittest). Another way to describe natural selection is just to say that whatever species is best adapted to pass on it's genes will survive. The species that are least able to pass on their genes will go extinct. By that theory, homosexuals should have gone extinct long ago since they don't have natural kids of their own and therefore don't pass on their genes. But it doesn't matter anyhow because I've already shown you that it isn't in the genes. I think you're getting your scientific evidence for homosexuality from hollywood.

oh, and another stupid theory: "homosexuality is not a sin, but having homosexual relations is a sin." okay. please. what the hell. why would God create homosexuals if it was sinful!!!!!! did straight people CHOOSE to be straight? no, of course not. you felt attracted to the opposite sex NATURALLY.


i apologize for the passionate rant, but I'm very upset when people tell my that lesbians are sinners. we are not sinners.

and another thing.
the proof that homosexuality is not a choice lies in the testimony of homosexuals around the world!!! when we say we didn't choose this; we mean it. WHY WOULD ANYONE CHOOSE TO BE HATED BY INSENSITIVE PEOPLE FOR HIS/HER ENTIRE LIFE?

furthermore, just because some identical twins don't have identical sexualities doesn't mean that the homosexual twin chose to be that way. nurture could have an effect; though the impact of nature is incredible. still, it is not a choice. did you choose the name your parents gave you? the city you grew up in? the tv shows you were exposed to in infanthood? all of these things *might* affect sexuality.

There is no god - no creation - we are all born bi-sexual we become gay/lesbian or hetro because of how we grow up. It is not a choice. However we can re-learn but why should we? Should all of us hetros learn to be gay?

Leave people to be the way they are. As a way of being gay/lesbian do no harm. In fact there has been several very successful societies which have had homosexuality as the norm. Others where bi-sexuality is the norm.

Is it that some groups of people have to have a group to attack just to feel good, mmm rings true.

First you should get your figures correct. It's not 30% of the human population.
Second, God gave us a free will to choose the way we want to live. For the human race to corrupt the man, woman relationship, isn't of God's doing.
That would be the mental instability of some small part of the human race.
If God had createed gay people. He would have given them the ability to have children. Instead, they have the ability to creat a very nasty disease called AIDS. Which is fatal!
So I think you need to rethink your thoughts!!!

Your first statement is incorrect. First we have to agree where our concept of God comes from and who or what is the definitive authority. It appears to me that your ideas have come from the belief in the God of the Christian Bible. If this is the case then please consider the following.

It says in the Bible that we were made in the image of God. This is a long and much debated sentence. This may not imply that we physically LOOK like God. It may only be some aspects of humanity that reflect the being of God.

This may be our innate knowledge of right and wrong, our conscience, etc. Or our ability to love or reason. But it is absolutely clear that God is not in his very essence a human, he Became a human when he came to earth to save us, but he explains over and over again that he and those things he has written in the Bible address spiritual things.

This opens up too many theological questions that thousands of very learned peoples have researched and scientifically questioned. But one thing is clear. However much it hurts or however much we deney it God is very clear on this issue, he not only dislikes it he condems it.

Now, the question is why? Why are people gay? For those who are Christians, it is not a question of how or why. It is a question of why does God, my father not want me to do this?

God has condemed many things in the Bible, but for what reasaon whould he come down to this world, and endure so much, including hell itself? To save us from ourselves? NO! It was to forgive us, to pay the price of our sins and to save us from eternal hell.

But if you try to argue that it exists therefore he made it, that does not hold water because, all the evils on earth stemed from the choice that eve made while living in perfect harmony and paradise.

Just as in human familys, the love that the child has for his parents is total when it is born. If you study children, it is clear that they so long to please their parents that some even endure abuse of many kinds and still love and long for their parents.

This is the closest thing I can think of to explain the need for a Christian to do the right thing by God.

At the risk of sounding like a Predestinationalist. If you are turely a child of God, you do not want to do anything that would anger, sadden, or displease your father. You continue to make mistakes and sin, but the single largest factor that distinguishes you from others that are not his children, is the inate desire not to sin, especially sins that he has made SOOO clear.

Your right. I'm not Lesbian, but I have nothing against gays/lesbians. I feel there just normal people like everyone else. People SHOULD have the right to love someone, and they SHOULD not be judged. God created Human Beings. We Humans can have a choice of being : normal, gay, homo, lesbian.

Its our choice. God made us..He did not chose for us.

But then, gays who believe in Jesus Christ...will still go to heaven. My guess is, after they have accepted Christ, they wont remain as gays for ....long.

Homosexuality is not a choice- so yes, god created gay people, just like he created all other minorities. The reason gays may not be proud of who they are is because of the perception the straight world carries- that they are filthy, they are sinners, and that they should be ashamed of their sexual preferences.
