Christians...how do you know?

Christians? hello Christains? I have a question.
How do you know that the Bible is true and not made up?
How do you know that all Religions besides Christianity
is false?
How do you know that the miracles happening to you is
by God's answering and not a coincidence?
Faith?
How do you know that your faith is real?
Seriously? The Bible is unreliable because you never knew
if any false prophet had a hand on the Bible. You are reading a Bible claimed to be written by God's will, yet you can never be sure that it is legitimate.
Even if God existed and intended on a Bible to be written but how can you be so sure that the very Bible you are reading is that of God's and not some false prophets? Maybe there is a hidden Bible that is the real one. How can you know?
You claim faith? You claim miracles from praying?
How can you be so sure those miracles(coincidence, luck) would not have occured despite your faith or prayers?
How can you know?

I'll try to answer them as best as I can.

Q: How do you know that the Bible is true and not made up?

Because it's been corroborated by historical and archaeological facts, and because of the prophecies in it which have come to pass.

Q: How do you know that all Religions besides Christianity
is false?

Well, I DON'T know, for a fact. But I've studied other religions, and I've been atheist and Wiccan, and Christianity is the truth for me. Nothing has ever fulfilled me the way Christianity does.

Q: How do you know that the miracles happening to you is
by God's answering and not a coincidence?

I don't. But there's no explanation for them.

Q: How do you know that your faith is real?

I don't. That's why I don't only "walk by faith." I needed evidence to back up my beliefs, and I found it.

As for the last little bit, about how the Bible might not be the "real" Bible, I think you need to read about how the Bible is unique. I used to wonder the same thing, but my worries and doubts have been laid to rest. There is too much to possibly type here, and it would take ages.

Hello...you? How can you not know that the Bible is true, that it was written by true prophets led by God? How can you not know that God exists? How can you not know that there is no hidden Bible?
But anyhow it sounds like you've already made up your mind that God doesn't exist and that the Bible is false.....or maybe they are just questions hanging around in your head, either way it sounds like you've already made up your mind.

Anyways I know because when I pray I get results, results don't just come out of the blue, they have to appear/occur because someone is listening, isn't it? and that someone is God, praise HIs name.

You don't really get results from your prayers because when you pray or even when you don't pray you already don't believe that God exists. The Bible says, "without faith you cannot please God". Want some advice? Work on your faith, that's a start. May God bless you, even though you don't believe in Him.

Christ is the Son of God...but this does not make all other religions false. All religions have truth in them. Jesus did not come to negate different cultures and human knowledge.

Jesus came to bridge the gap between us and the Father. "I am the way the Truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me"

Jesus comes to all people of all ages, faiths, and mental abilities in the time He is meant to come to that person. For many, this may not be until the time of passing. At the moment He appears to you (you "know" he is there) He will "say" to you "Who do you say that I am?"

I know that my faith is real because I have been "asked" by Him "Who do you say that I am?"

I know that God intends for us to read the Bible as presented because he has presented it to us.

Life is the miracle. You are a miracle. I am a miracle.

We know God exists becasue we exist.

we feel the presence of God in our life , its faith , and we know its true because every single day God helps and proves that he exists , its a thing that u dont feel , but all of true christians feel it , i find that every single word in the bible is true , every thing that happens through my day i find how to deal with it from the bible , the bible tells me how to live my life , it is more than words it something inside u , a gift from God
u may not understand any thing , but read the bible and u will find the answer , know God first from the bible then u will find the proof u r searching for , try to know How is God like , how he treats us , how he loves us ...... u can know about him from the bible , then u will find the proof

I grew up christian, and I will say that NO religion is truth..
logic and reason are scientific ways to find truth.. science is not a belief .. it is system to find truth.. Religions ALL of them are theories.. many people in the scientific community have different theories on lots of things.. and they all claim to be right.. much like religions.. I think the real intelligent approach is to see that they are all the same, and that feelings and emotions are NOT truth.. they are merely things that put your mind at rest when contemplating your existence... Calling any theory truth without hard concrete facts that cannot be proved wrong or probable error.. is ignorance.. and ignorance is bliss... because you are told what to think... hence.. religion... yours mine and theirs.. so whether wondering why christians think they are right.. perhaps the answer is in you.. why do you think you are right???

Though bible is written by man, but it is inspired by the holy spirit of GOD. 2 Timothy 3:16. Bible is true because all the things written before that will happen today are really happened and we experienced it today.

Apparently, if you can't prove that something doesn't exist, it must mean that it does exist. If such idiotic "logic" were used in the real world, imagine how our world would be right now, especially in the field of science.

Max, not a thing I could tell you nor anyone else for that matter can convince you that Christ is the answer. One can read and reread and not know the truth. To know for sure that He is God and that you need Him to be saved, just ask Him to show you. We could debate question after question, but the answer must be written on your heart. I say, pray to God that He show you the truth, because the truth shall set you free.....

First of all its faith... a faith that has been proven to me that can be anything but false. All you need to do is open up your mind and dont let it be changed to the World! Think for yourself! Open your eyes and walk! Because though my Walk ive seen miracles and ive seen hard times............................

That is the whole point of faith, that's what it's all about. Believing in what can't be proven. If you really believe you don't need all that other stuff to convince you.
