what do you think?
how would you describe it?

sorry, I am not a native speaker so I have some lapses in english.
I just wonder if this sentence below is right and if it is, why?

I need scarcely add that, being so absent-minded, he became a famous professor.

I think it's wrong and should be changed like " I need scarcely to add that...."
when we usually write the verb "need" and another verb right after that , we add "to" so that it could be "need to do(verb)".

Thank you for your answer :)

need some disciple types to write different books for the Libel. Now, my God has clearly inspired me to write this and to seek your help, so whoever choses to help has already been chosen, and they too are inspired. SO can you just please give some answers and ideas for what to put in the Libel?

Book One: At the start....
God was lonely. One night he threw himself a party to cheer himself up. When opening some divine candy gobstoppers, they all spilled into the eternal void, which exists down beside God's bed, filling it, and then that made the planets. Then he was roasting marshmallows on the great fire of creation, and the molten bits that dripped off made the stars.

Then God realised that he should make himself some friends. So he spat down the side of his bed, creating the oceans, and we evolved from the skin cells in his saliva from the inside of his cheeks.

Now. Anyone want to help with the rest of it?! You'll be guaranteed a place at the toga party on judgement day.

and our beliefs are based on theories and facts discovered through logic and reason, such as gravity, evolution, mathematics, and pretty much everything that has to do with science, does that mean science shouldn't be taught in our public schools for fear of our "religion" being taught in public schools?

According to TheKnot.com, I should use about $650 towards expenses for my ceremony.

I'm having a Catholic Wedding. So, I know that aisle runners, pew decorations, unity candles and excess decorations are generally, not allowed.

Therefore, how much should it cost? Is there a fee for the use of the church? I know generally there is a donation made, but are there an mandatory fees?

Someone please explain about how much a Catholic wedding ceremony should cost

I'm trying to put together a budget.

Ecclestiastes

2 Do not be quick with your mouth,
do not be hasty in your heart
to utter anything before God.
God is in heaven
and you are on earth,
so let your words be few.
Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands? 7 Much dreaming and many and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God.

I have got friends and family who are of varying Christian denominations. According to many on Yahoo R&S, I am going to hell because I have no religious affiliations. Some users have asked me if I want to go to heaven with my Christian family and friends. So will I miss all of Christian friends and family or will I only miss some of them? Somebody please help me out, I am so confused?

Well, I am a bisexual, but MY mother, doesn't think that one can be a 'bi'. But for me, I am attracted to people not gender. And she is always on my case.."...if you like women, I wlll be very hurt, and you wont be welcome in my house..and you cant bring any women home!" How horrible is that? The thing that bothers me most is my two Aunts, her sister are lesbians! One just got married to a woman! and my mom is all nice and loving towards them! Yet, she always brings me down and makes me ashamed for who I am. Does anyone have any suggesting on how I deal with this. I mean I have talked to her about it, she just gets angry.

Can you be a Christian and support the death penalty?

My mom says Yes because the Bible states you must obey the laws of the land.

My dad says NO because Jesus taught against it.

Your opinions?

I'm talking about the people that show off, claiming they 'hate' stereotypes and then go around saying "Oh! Take a look at that girl/boy! She's/he's such a prep/emo/goth/punk/weirdo/nerd!"

It's
so
frustrating.

Do you not realize you're contradicting yourselves??!!!

Who cares how people dress?
It's their choice, their sense of style.

It's not that complicated.
Have you ever thought of the idea that people simply dress a certain way because they consider it cute and comfortable, and not for attention?

How can you limit someone/yourself to a lowly judgemental stereotype?

I'm sick of it.

I'm new to Yahoo Answers, but I've noticed alot of people here label themselves actually. 'Well I'm emo' 'I'm a prep'

Why be another sheep in a herd?

You're an individual. Act like it.

Concepts are ideas that may or may not be believed. We often grasp a concept because we want to believe it, and say we believe it, but our experience may show us differently, and mind believes what it's experience demonstrates.

We may say we believe in God, or that life is illusion, mind, duality, self is illusion, but we continue to act as though there is no God and life and self are very real. We do this because that's what mind truly believes to be so. There are concepts which make sense and we would like to believe, and there is what we truly believe and respond to in our daily lives. Seems to me It's important to know the difference.

Beliefs are not knowing. Mind can never really know anything absolutely because creation and perception are the same. The act of perceiving is a movement in Consciousness that creates that perception, much the same way you create your nightly dreams. There is a level at which mind knows it can know nothing for certain.

It doesn't make sense...

Yes, they all have wheels, but some are powered, others aren't. Some are enormous, while others are tiny. Some make noise, others are quiet. Some can carry many people, others only one. Some make pollution, other's do not. Some are aesthetically pleasing, others are ugly

How can these different forms of transportation possibly be related. All they have in common are wheels???

Yet, every single one of them descended from a common "ancestor" - THE WAGON - and none of them really look like wagons.

That is today's lesson in logic folks. Enjoy.

Look. You can't just concentrate on Christians for believing in a religion. For example... You can't blame people for believing that the U.S will, i dunno, win the football world cup sometime. No matter how ridiculous it sounds, it's just a belief.

I'm more of an atheistic catholic.... I think it's a great institution, and it's a good way to live your lifeI don't agree with Catholic views on contraception and homosexuality, and I suppose not believing in God is another problem, but catholicism is a good moral compass to live your life by.

Anyway. I'm an intelligent person, I've read up on and understand things like evolution, and geology, and plate tectonics, and biology and astrophysics. And I'm also INTERESTED (just interested) in theology, so I've read on that too.

Anyway. Be careful in using the generalisation "Christians" when referring to the crazies that refuse to believe in little things like evolution, and the age of the earth etc.

It's insulting to the rest of us.

Anywho i won't burn the book, i will continue to learn and i still haven't told them i'm gay. I'll ignore you if you talk smack.
