I have got friends and family who are of varying Christian denominations. According to many on Yahoo R&S, I am going to hell because I have no religious affiliations. Some users have asked me if I want to go to heaven with my Christian family and friends. So will I miss all of Christian friends and family or will I only miss some of them? Somebody please help me out, I am so confused?

C.S. Lewis, a brilliant theologian, once alluded to the possibility that one could serve God "even even though one didn't know him by that name."

Many different denominations love to legislate strict guidelines and parameters on who will go to Hell. Ignore them. Evangelicals love to scare people with their hell-fire and brimstone.

Now don't get me wrong; I urge you to learn about the sacrifice of Christ which extends every human being salvation. By all means, start a relationship with God. Primal cause arguments dictate that a God exists. There is an old saying in my church: "I was saved 2000 years ago!" So don't give up and say that youre going to Hell. Remember, there are many Christian denominations that claim their way is the only way. They are pretentious, cocky, and wrong.

If you want to go to Heaven, serve the Lord whom logic dictates already exists. Even if you don't believe the Bible, realize that there is a reason for the universe and your existence, too. Most theologians agree that God is the "Lord of Conscience" and that anybody can serve him.

In short, nobody knows exactly who will be going to Hell. Don't let anyone say that you're going, though. Why don't you check out some scholarly journal articles on "Grace." (In the Christian sense)

No offense dude, but if you're in the "Christian" Hell, you won't CARE who is there with you. The suffering would be too great.

Also, the "denomination" is a particular sect of Christianity. So like, you have your Baptists, Methodists, Christians, Presbyterians, etc..... All Christians, different denominations. The CORE beliefs are the same. The fringe beliefs differ.

You really have to wonder WHY Christians are telling you that you will go to Hell. I mean sure, doctrinally speaking, the Bible says that if you don't love Jesus, you will go to Hell. But it says nothing about denominational affiliation. Not only that, but Christians ARE SUPPOSED to be loving people and not "scare tactic" people. It's the "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar" concept.

And finally, you simply go where you WANT to go. If you decide you don't love Jesus, then you obviously want nothing to do with Him.... right? So, He let's you CHOOSE the place where God is NOT PRESENT (Hell). Of course, most people believe that it is themselves that make things good rather than any "God." I guess you'll find out if you get there.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through Him.

Doesn't have anything to do with your affiliations. If you don't accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you will go to hell. In hell you will be able to see all the people in Heaven, but you won't be able to go there once the door to Hell is shut by God. Now is the time to accept the free gift of salvation. Hurry, you are not promised another minute.

No company can assure exemption from the eternal torment of hell, yet some are greater effective than others in warding off that torment. The worst offenders are denominations that deny that there is a hell, flatly contradicting Jesus' teachings (see link). fairly unusual whilst Christians think of they understand greater proper than Jesus. people who think of they're in no possibility will probably do no longer something to stay away from the actual possibility. David represents a team that thinks we can stay away from hell via the in basic terms psychological action of religion. faith is a distinctive function and a call for for Christians, yet believing and coaching faith on my own regulations out all the different standards, such as having righteousness that exceeds that of the Pharisees and ending up the self-sacrificial charitable paintings exemplified via the good Samaritan. the excellent help comes from church homes that wisely proclaim Jesus' teachings approximately hell and approximately salvation, and that furnish a potential to God's grace for the duration of the sacraments. those might incorporate the Catholic and Orthodox church homes. I'll let the bible answer your question. There is only 1 church. Only 1 plan of salvation. Except a man be born of the water and the spirit, he shall not enter into heaven. ( This spake he concerning the Holy Ghost for as yet it had not been given). READ ACTS 2:38. Has your friends and family fulfilled this scripture??????? And your other denominations??

The Bible says that only God can see the heart, so only He can make the final determination. However, there must be acceptance of the atonement sacrifice of the blood of Christ for ones sins in order for one to be redeemed. I do not know and would never attempt to speak for God as to who will receive salvation and who will not, but the Bible sets out the guide lines and requirements clearly.
I doubt religious affiliations will have anything to do with salvation! It will not be your religious affiliation that will save you! The only thing that can wash away your sin is the blood of Christ! We are saved by grace! Rest assure, that Christ is the way and the truth and the life!

Only those who have heard, understood and rejected the gospel of Christ will be in Hell. All others are covered by grace (undeserved favor). All you have to do is have faith. Christ said if you have the faith the size of the tiny mustard seed you can move mountains.

You fate is determined by your faith in Jesus Christ.

"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life". - (Jn. 3:16)

"He that believes on me has everlasting life".- Jesus.. (Jn. 6:47

So why would you choose hell instead of the free gift of eternal life?
