This is a serious question, I want to see how many people actually know a convicted rapist.

I don't know who it was but they were so sneaky not even I noticed. I transformed and discovered all of my tires were flat.

I see people criticizing each other just because of religion or preference in sex/gender. Why doesn't anyone know that it's not their choice to decide or say what's right or wrong for those others? These are just extremely ignorant people, I know, just need opinions.

Thanks!

1 : voluntary choice or decision
2 : freedom of humans to make choices that are not determined by prior causes or by divine intervention

Source: http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/free%20will Websters dictionary online

1. Christians say that God gave free will, yet he created the 10 commandments to follow.
For example: If I choose not to steal because the 10 commandments say so, then I am not using my free will.

2. Christians say God gives free will, yet pray for divine intervention to happen. For example; praying for a fireman to save people in a burning building without the fireman's consent is not free will.

3. Babies don't believe in God, so this denies free will also. Now Now... don't argue, theres a place babies go called Limbo. Oh I forgot... the Pope deleted it.

that we are all sinful and death is our just reward for the sin? They don't want to put sin to death on the cross because they don't think they really have any sin? Don't they know that death HAS to happen to totally set them free with Christ?

I hosted a frat party which got out of hand and several people were inseminated (three women by 11 guys, I'm not sure who got what from whom, but it started out as consenual). Some people are making unpleasant noises about torts and law suits and I was wondering if I am in the clear.

In this passage the criminal is asking Jesus to remember him in the Kingdom. The Kingdom that the criminal is talking about, according to scripture is never described as being located in heaven. The Kingdom will be established here on earth after Jesus returns. In interpreting the scripture, if we are to assume the Jesus and the criminal are talking about the same thing then we need to look at other scriptures. In prophecy we know that Jesus would be in the belly of the whale, the grave, for three days and three nights. Jesus was not going to be in paradise, heaven, that day, prophecy says he would be in the grave.

Genesis has Abraham preparing to sacrifice his son to God. "Take your son, your only son – yes, Isaac, whom you love so much – and go to the land of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will point out to you." (Genesis 22:1-18) Abraham takes his own son up on a mountain and builds an altar upon which to burn him. He even lies to his son and has him help build the altar. Then Abraham ties his son to the altar and puts a knife to his throat. He then hears God tell him this was just a test of his faith.

How come you have no problem in believing this story of the bible, and it is actually ok for you that God asked Abraham to do such a thing in order to prove his faith,
then when someone gets caught doing something THAT EVIL in today's society ,saying that God told him to sacrifice his son,
(check the story of that guy that put his son in the microwave saying that God told him to do that) you are ( if you are a NORMAL PERSON) THE FIRST one to say that the person in question is CRAZY ,EVIL and should be put in jail? THEN WHY DOES THE STORY OF ABRAHAM MAKE ANY SENSE TO YOU ??????????

I saw a special on the history channel, about how this Aztec calendar ends on that very day, and that was a very accurate ancient calendar and all...plus the stock market computer predicted an increase in terrorism leading up to 2012, and many predictions (even part of the Bible, I've heard) say the world will end at that time. I really don't want it to. what do you believe?

King james was replacing the word jehovah and why would you go by some one's VERISON and not the origanal

king james VERSION is the king's VERSION and not a translation of the origanal scrolls

that's like saying windows VERSION 98 AND vista VERSION is the same program

Do you believe this is true as well?

I saw the media coverage of the Gore kid getting busted for pills and and weed and it made me think. If everyone should be treated equally then shouldn't all of us have our pictures and stories blasted all over the media as well?

I mean we should all be treated equally right?

I know it's not very realistic, this big giant section in the paper for arrest, but what if it were?

Imagine the first time you and the spouse get a little loud and the cops come. Even if you're not charged it would still be reported in the paper for all your friends family to see.

I'm in a mellow mood so, thoughts?

If the religion is too difficult for you that you cannot handle challenges to your practice, perhaps it is time to convert.

Should I say "(IT) sounds good" or "(THAT) sounds good"?

Could you tell me the difference between IT and THAT?

i mean, if i kill someone i am condemned so why should i refrain myself and not kill 25 people more if i am already condemned???
if i repent and then i have my salvation restored why would religion refrain myself from killing in the first place, all i got to do is repent afterwards.
So religion doesnt prevent first time sin nor helps to refrain people from repeating the sin.

i recently asked a question about evolution to members of religions bassed on the BIBLE...i was quite supprised when i discovered that most responses did not deny evolution... heres that catch...if evolution is real, then what about adam and eve? correct me if im wrong, but were'nt they perfect beings that required no more genitic mutations?...even if they werent the evidence is building up that we evolved from other species, which would mean that god did not create these two beings/humans...what im attempting to get at here is the failure of the OT, if we did evolve from other species than it is evident that god did not create humans as the superior race or even that god did not create humans at all. THIS IS ONLY A THEORY AND IT IS NOT TO BE TAKEN AS REALITY....YET... comments?

If the energy of the big bang were different by one part in 10^120, the matter in the universe would either be dust or in singularity (Hawking). What do you think?

A cosmic coincidence? A miscalculation? A multiverse? Natural intelligent designer?

I understand that no one knows, but I'm just wondering how many possible answers there may be other than "God did it"...

It is the word of god, but doesn't subjecting it to human penmanship leave room for error?

How do we know it is the same today as it was in the 1st century?

Do you ever really know, or is it all about faith for you?

Please don't be offended by the question. I'm asking in curiosity. I want to understand Christians and Cristianity before I formulate many opinions about them....
