Do you believe this is true as well?

I saw the media coverage of the Gore kid getting busted for pills and and weed and it made me think. If everyone should be treated equally then shouldn't all of us have our pictures and stories blasted all over the media as well?

I mean we should all be treated equally right?

I know it's not very realistic, this big giant section in the paper for arrest, but what if it were?

Imagine the first time you and the spouse get a little loud and the cops come. Even if you're not charged it would still be reported in the paper for all your friends family to see.

I'm in a mellow mood so, thoughts?

Richard, I was referring to the fact that many people e outraged because they felt Libby and Hilton got special treratment because Hilton got out early (alythough she ended up going back) abd Bush did his Libby thing. In fairness then shouldn't our skeletons be exposed as well, to keep it fair?

Can you not read or are just a little slow?

As far as food for thought, I happen to think that you have an excellent idea. There are some small towns that I know that do that in each edition. So the Washington Post would have to have a new supplement, so be it. I bet that would be more of an influence to drive down some crimes than anything else!!

so how are Paris and scooter being treated better than the rest of us? Paris got 45 days in jail for violation of probation on a DUI charge she was convicted on. scooter got a $250k fine, 2 1/2 years in prison and 2 years probation, though the prison sentence was commuted. Paris was let out of jail against judges orders, and returned to jail. just because they are famous doesnt mean they get better treatment than the rest of us, they just get publicity.

That's the hazards of being "famous." Try being the schoolteacher, or the sheriff, in a small town. Or the pastor's wife. Everybody who "sticks out" gets smeared at some time in their life. As George Bush said about George W.: "He can take it."
