Does the independence of thought branch out into theology and political ideology?

If your pastor promotes a political position, for example a pro-choice position regarding abortion, are you independent of mind to maintain a pro-life position if you are prolife?

or, as is typically human, are there women who lust after him as a woman sexually lusts after a man. It would be phenominal if no one get sexual over the idea of Jesus this incredibly wonderful and powerful

This Hard Earned Freedom was from the English and other forces. Now we r governing ourselves and we r in the largest working democracy.
We have a succesful secular system now, where, a Sikh prime minister was voted to power by 90% of Hindus and selected by a Christian who is the Head of the ruling Party and was appointed by a Muslim President. Of course Authorization was given by a Hindu Chief Justice, and the elections were conducted under a Hindu who was the Election Commisioner.
Now What do u think as the best thing that happened to this country in the Last 60 years,.......and the last 3 years separately. Also specify the worst.
What do u think we should do to make the country a super power. You r welcome to give elaborate answers.
Should India be Called as Barath only. why and why not?

These analogies almost always place an obviously designed object in a natural setting. Is this admitting that nature is not obviously designed?

The way I understand it, is that ya'll believe that I go to hell because I don't believe in specific things, such as the divinity of Jesus Christ. Well, once I have a shred of evidence... such as meeting him in the afterlife, I'll be happy to believe, repent, etc. Why does your god only forgive sins in life during life? But is completely unforgiving in the afterlife?

I mean Christians, Catholics, Mormons, Jehovahs witnesses, etc- why are these religions known for trying to cram themselves down your throat relentlessly. Then you have Eastern religion that usually practices the belief that if you want the truth you will come and find it. You don't see Taoists running around stuffing the Tao down your throat. Why is it important that everyone believe in YOUR religion when it comes to the Biblical God?? Just a question- so don't start the fire and brimstone threatening please...

Just wondering why a student can not use this forum for research without getting the nasty "am I doing Your Homework line"????
Why even bother answering? You won't be there to do my exam so if I do not learn this stuff I am in trouble. But it is nice to have a place to come and ask for clarification without the accusatory remarks. Thanks for those of you that do just generally help which Thank God is the majority!

it may be a touchy subject but i really want to know the world opinion. I pesonaly am filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues but is it against your church that you dont, how you grew up, or are you filled with Spirit and speak in tongues.

Would it make since for God to condemn us to hell if we do not obey him, yet tell us that condemning is one of his most frowned upon sins. Thats hypocritical. Im sure this is not the will of God to tell us "do as I say and not as I do". Opinions?
