The Prez is one more notch off his rocker with this whole Libby ordeal. When are we as American's going to get this monger out of the White House? Or is it as the rest of the world looks at us... we, the American people, are the weakest link?

Well, technically, the government believes he didn't do anything wrong enough to be impeached. He did not violate the constitution or neglect anyone's rights. He just has a different opinion on the situation in Iraq. You can't impeach someone because of their opinion. Do not think I, Myself, am sticking up for him though. I think it has gone to far. End this war!

"WE" cannot impeach Bush. In the United States, only the House of Representatives can impeach him. You must remember that impeachment does NOT mean removal. Impeachment is merely the charging of a president with illegal activity. Congress alone decides what an "impeachable offense" is. As then-representative Gerald R. Ford stated in 1970, "An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history."

Once a president has been impeached (this has only happened twice in US history), then a trial occurs with the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court presiding. The Senate is the jury and there must be a two-thirds majority vote to convict and remove him from office. Conviction and removal has NEVER occurred in US History. Both Andrew Johnson and William Jefferson Clinton survived their impeachments and served their full presidential terms.

It is the president's right to commute or pardon the sentence of anyone for any reason. Wouldn't you do something similar for your friends?

I'm not supporting Bush...I'm just playing devil's advocate here. And I'm suggesting that before you call for impeachment, you actually take a moment to find out what it really means.

You cant impeach someone that hasnt broken any laws. Before the last election the democrats wanted to give the impression that Bush had broken laws and he would be impeached so the antibush crowd would vote for them. However, after the democrats gained power, they cant impeach him because they know he hasnt broken any laws.

Because we honestly don't know any better. As much as people complain about Bush seemingly 'doing what he wants' regardless of the will of the public, he is a very, very weak man, just like his father.

He doesn't have the marbles to really make a stand in the Middle East and demonstrate what America stands for- the right to life on this planet. He doesn't have the strong will to drop a NUKE ON TEHRAN like he should. He bows down to Arab oil sheiks who stole Western property (oil).
