My best friend is going to College and it's a big accomplishment for her. I want to buy her something small but sincere to show my support. Any ideas?

Book bags/backpacks if you know her style. A scientific calculator. A box of pens. A binder, and a 3 hole punch. (This is really handy for not only taking notes, but keeping the syllabus and handouts.) A package of notecards for speech or research. And a lunch with the two of you to congratulate her!

Make her a gift basket with all her favorite goodies, or get her a cool bag to use for lugging her school stuff around, if she drinks coffee or tea get her one of those mugs that keeps itsself hot or cold.

Ramen noodles, a can opener, a shower caddy and quarters (for laundry and snacks) are all very good gifts.
