John 20:24-29 Namely v 28"And Thomas answered and said to him "My LORD and my God" after touching the hands of Jesus. Is Thomas recognizing that Jesus is Jehovah? v.29 "Jesus said to him. "Thomas, because you have seen ME you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed".Is Jesus Blessing Thomas for recognizing his divinity?

My daughter (age 15) is leaving tomorrow for her 3rd short term mission trip to a mission station in Honduras. Her and her group are all women, (she is the only teen who was invited for this trip), will be working at a local school and will be helping in construction of a community centre.
She raises all the money for these trips herself as we could have never afforded it - praise the Lord she is willing and the Lord has been faithful.

If you think of it, could you all please say a prayer for her and her team as they travel and work for the Lord?

My daughter felt the call to missions at age 12. She has been to Honduras (in 2005) and to New Orleans (last march break). She is a special girl who loves the Lord and as a mother, I am truly blessed that the Lord entrusted us to have her as our daughter.

Ok so I walked in on my friend masturbating, and instead of just leaving i hid in the corner and listened.. It turned me on alittle bit, and it made me wanna be with her, but ive never really been into girls though. So is these feelings normal or am i starting to be a lesiban? My parents are having some friends over tomorrow. I am currently living with them. I am divorced and my child lives in another state with her Dad.

One of the ladies that is coming over is about my age. She is married and is coming with her husband and two children.

She always makes me feel bad because she has a complete family and I don't. She does this through her body language and comments.

How should I handle this?

The only things that I can think of are ignoring her or focusing on helping my Mom serve the food, etc and the other other guests.

I don't know what else to do? I want to be able to tolerate her without being rude myself.

I am a believer. If I am wrong, I have nothing to loose. Some people say "well, if you are wrong you may have wasted your life."

Those people call living the life as drinking alcohol, smoking, and being a everyday party person. For me, that is not investing my time.

If I am wrong, I don't go to heaven. Without loosing anything. If I am right, I go to heaven and win everything.

Now, if atheists are wrong, then they have a lot to loose. I wont have anything to loose if I am wrong. Do you?

Note: I do not pretend to say that all atheists live the alcohol and smoking or party life.

If I am wrong, well I lost nothing. What abut you?

Interbreeding. Why do you do it? GOD made races, and HE did NOT mean for us to mix! We need to preserve our races, or they'll disapear. How would you like that? Besides, mixed-race marriages are more likely to divorce than one-race ones. I am not racist, and believe everyone should have equal rights, no matter what, but I do not think interbreeding is a good thing at all.

I'm very thin, about 5'5 108 lbs, healthy but skinny. I often have acquaintances and even complete strangers comment on my weight, and not in a positive manner. The "oh you need to eat something" stuff like that. It gives me the same insecurity overweight people would feel if someone commented on their weight. But for some reason, it's more acceptable to say that too a very skinny person.

When someone says "oh my gosh, you're so skinny" I want to respond "hey thanks dumb***, I've looked in a mirror before" Of course, I would never say that, so what should I say in this situation?

I have noisy neighbors.. One of them is black and no im no racist but he has a crappy *** old camaro that he constantly drives around the block. Hes the only black guy on the block and hes making it known. What he has is a loud sound system in his car and everytime he comes in the neighborhood he makes it known. Sometimes he would park outside in from of the apartment and run into his house leaving his music on for about 10 mins until he comes back and then he leaves. Another neighbor lives right next door to him and they are asians who always play music day and night for hours and hours. Im talkin hip hop bassy music. Seems liek they are tryin to annoy each other or something. The asians look like gangsters and the black guy is a drug dealer cuz i seen him deal before.. im too afraid to talk to them..What can i do?

Why is it so weird that I haven't had a birthday party in 18 years and I buy other people gifts on my birthday? I decided a long time ago that I didn't deserve gifts as a congratulations for being born, and that my birthday should be seen as my personal day to do something special for the people around me and to celebrate life in general. Everyone I know thinks that is the most weird thing ever. Does anyone see where I am coming from in my outlook and NOT think it's weird?

There is a lot of confusion about the earliest existing texts of the Bible.
