I have noisy neighbors.. One of them is black and no im no racist but he has a crappy *** old camaro that he constantly drives around the block. Hes the only black guy on the block and hes making it known. What he has is a loud sound system in his car and everytime he comes in the neighborhood he makes it known. Sometimes he would park outside in from of the apartment and run into his house leaving his music on for about 10 mins until he comes back and then he leaves. Another neighbor lives right next door to him and they are asians who always play music day and night for hours and hours. Im talkin hip hop bassy music. Seems liek they are tryin to annoy each other or something. The asians look like gangsters and the black guy is a drug dealer cuz i seen him deal before.. im too afraid to talk to them..What can i do?

We had this problem in our neighborhood when gangs and meth cookers tried to take over. Keep calling the cops, day or night. They may get bitchy about it, but don't let it intimidate you--you don't even have to give them your name if they ask. The only cops that have a problem with it are the rookies and the sour old men/women who don't want to get off their backsides. The good cops know that if calls keep coming in about suspicious behavior and noise disturbances, it gives them an excuse to keep coming over there. Eventually, they will catch one of these jerks red handed with drugs, illegal alcohol, and sometimes something much bigger that's been causing a problem for the whole community. Then they are off to jail. If the problem gets worse, call a city inspector or someone in code enforcement. A lot of cities have noise ordinances and some even have a law that says if a property is a nuisance, it can be confiscated from the landlord and a lot of landlords would rather get an anonymous complaint letter about these problem tenants than lose their properties. Good luck!

IF there is a noise ordinance, call the cops.
IF he does this at night, call the cops.
Unfortunately if its during the day most likely you'll just have to deal with it. Unless they are being unreasonably loud.

Sign them up for zillions of magazine subscriptions and junk mail. They'll be so ticked off they won't be in the mood to play music.
