I love this question because it reveals the true intent of the biblical scholar. If they like war and destruction its alway murder then you can apply your own definition of murder. Kill is pretty precise and demands you to be basically a pacifist.

I have always heard, regarding the origins of Satan, that he was once an angel called Lucifer... in fact God's favorite angel or the highest-ranking angel... and that he rebelled and took 1/3 of the angels in heaven with him, and that those angels are now demons. However, I have never found any references to this in the bible. As a relatively new Christian (2 years since I was saved) I haven't spent a lot of time on learning about Satan instead concentrating, as I believe I should, on Christ and on learning to be the best, most obediant child of God I can be. Can anyone give me biblical verse references that explain how Satan became who and what he is? If it's not in the bible, what is this story based upon?

I read this list on a trip to a ghastly town Joseph OR. I wondered since most american christians dont fully understand Christs message why they dont at least follow these 10 rules? The rule about killing is at point here and I didnt read a self defense clause.

I was thinking (is not very usual)Jesus creates all things cause he is God, and the last creation was humans then the Hell was created before Adam, then he creates a place to torture people before they sin, and he knew that they will sin, so he decided to create before the creation of humans a horrible place to torture us, he put all the fire 100,000 degrees and the brimstone also wow!!

according to the bible Satan rebels in the garden of Edem (after the creation of hell) read Ezekiel 28:11 and you will see he was as a guardian in Edem and the he becomes evil only 6000 years ago after the creation fo Adam and Eve and of course hell.
It is incredible but that is what christianity are spreading and we even realize that we are doing it!!!! all this crap that I already say it is exactly what christianity has been teaching as a God of love, it is no strange that Jesus will reject the majority of us (Christians) according to Matthew 7:21-23 and also why atheist think we are stupids.

Doesn't it seem suspicious to you that Paul could not sell his story to those who walked with Jesus? Paul had to sell his story to people who never heard any of Jesus' sermons?

Why? Cause people who knew Jesus, knew Paul was a fraud.

Didn't Jesus have any other loving followers? Why would Jesus select a Sandhedrin (in a private showing)?

Did Jesus not appear to disciples all together, why didn't Jesus tell them that he had completely changed his mission to Earth?

If you were brainwashing someone, would you say "lean not on your own understanding". --- Don't try to understand just do what I say, said Paul.

A lady on my friend's job came to my house last night with chicken & offered her & the kids some but didn't offer me any. I asked for a piece, & she laughed @ me & called me greedy. Was I rude to ask? If so, how was I rude in my own house? I felt left out. Or was she rude to treat me that way?

I truly do, I feel lucky to have her on our side... Yes, she is over the top sometimes but you have to admit she stands true to her feelings, beliefs, and goals whether she is right or wrong. In my opinion, that shows huge strength and honesty in her character. I applaud her for all she does and continues to work toward for our community. How do you guys feel?

Well my bestest friend chris told me he is gay and then he said he likes a boy named aaron and theres alot of aarons at my school and i asked him witch one and he said the one i like ahhh! my best friend likes my ex boyfriend and the bad thing is aaron still likes me and i like him so we where going to get back together but my best friend is in love with him to. and i dont want to hurt my friends feelings by going out with aaron again after chris told me he likes him!!! please help me i dont know what to do.
