So, I have a style of clothing I like to wear because I just do.
It's modeled after baby-doll-like clothing, ((mostly frilly dresses)) and is in no way revealing or lewd.
Light pinks and light alice blues are the base of it all

Pics are here, if you'd like to see what I'm talking about:
http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/2179/lolitadressesgm2.png

Anyhow, my father disapproves of the style, saying that it is very sexually hinting in it's nature, thus, no leeway is given for me.
I'm very disappointed in it all, because it's my passion and I love love love the style!
But, is it really sexual?
What makes it so sexual? Are there anything clothing styles that are no revealing but considered "sexual" in their nature?

Do you think there's any loopholes so I can be able to wear the style again?
Please help me out, thanks.

huh? I am posting this message because i had recently recieved an answer to a question i had posted and the answer was similar to "black people came here legally and were all sold to us by their homeland and most were asked if they wanted to stay or leave america".What? So what matters is that they were sold and not the 200 plus more years of slavery? How about the lynching of black men and raping of black women? Well, i can go on and on but you get the picture!

Do any of you find this offensive? I was reading a book and it quoted the bible, saying this:

Revelation 21:8 "The corrupt, and murderers, and the immoral, and those who practice witchcraft, and idol worshipers, and all liars - Their doom is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur."

I looked this up in a bible my mom has (she's Christian, I'm wiccan), and it said the same thing. This, my friends, I find very offensive! I thought Christians were a welcoming religion! I'm sure the majority of us wiccans/pagans/witches would accept the Christians into our home!

Does anyone else find this bible passage offensive?

A couple of weeks ago i got some junk in the mail from a church in Oklahoma called Saint Matthews telling me they were told by God that I was having spiritualist issues, they said they would pray for me if I replied to them. The strange thing is I've been having a lot of doubts about who I am and what I believe, so i filled out their card and mailed it back to them, since that time I have received about 6 letters from them wanting me to Tithe them but Titheing was one of the Issues I had with the Catholic church in my past! Has anyone heard of these people or is it just another scam?

I moved into my house a year ago. We live next to an elderly couple. I have just gotten news that the elderly woman next to us has passed away.

Today, I was taking out some trash on the side of the house. Our wall that seperates our houses are low enough to peak over to eachothers yards. I felt very uneasy like she was there on the other side of the wall watching me. Am I nuts, or do you think it is her? Btw, as I was walking back into my house, it smelled like burnt rubber. It's kinda strange.

I've read that some people claim they were hypnotized by Kaa watching Disney's "Jungle Book". If a snake could really do that, or if a person could create a machine that radiated colored circles, like Kaa's eyes; (and the person would also have to give hypnotic commands) would it be possible to hypnotize a person? If this isn't hypnotic, then where did Disney come up for the idae of this animation? Thanks.

Should you share your view and move on...or should you continue to "present your side"?

Especially, in relation to social issues like homosexuality. It may be your view that it is wrong and sinful. However, there are many denominations that are taking a different look at homosexuality and/or the condemnation of such and coming to different conclusions. Please don't tell me these are not Godly churches..as they are Methodist, Church of Christ, Episcopalians, some independent Baptists, and many more.

Why can't both sides agree to disagree and move on? You think it is sin, others do not.

If it is a sin in your eyes, do not commit it. Plain and simple.

Why do you continue to condemn people based on your opinion of interpretation of scripture....especially, when you know that others have differing opinions?

This is an issue solely between the two consenting adults and their God....not you...and as such, these people should have all the same civil and legal rights.
