Some strong incenses gives me bad allergic reactions, like coughing or feeling dizzy. I've never used incense very much, but the few times I was in a place where incense was burning, I felt very sick. Some people have mentioned special incense to me; incense that is ok for people with allergies. Does anyone know a brand or type of incense that wouldn't bug me? Thanks for your time, *Tiger-lily Rain*

Why is it that when something happens in Iraq, muslims the world over are blamed and equated to unhuman "infestations"? Muslims in American aren't doing anything. We live in peace, yet we're told "You want to kill us". When we say no we don't, they insist. Do they WANT us to kill them or something? I can't even kill an insect, I trap it and set it free outside. Do you really believe what you are saying? Heck, if we want to go that route, I could just as easily say that Christian fathers want to kill their pregnant wives and Christian mothers want to kill their babies because it happens so often. So should I blame all christian men and women and tell them to clean their own backyard before we believe a thing they say?

Ok, I never thought I would have this question to ask, but here goes.

I am a pagan, something my family knows nothing about. This has never been a problem before, as they live on the East Coast and I live in CA. However, we are planning to move back east to be closer to them.

Here is my problem. My entire family is deeply Catholic. On the few occasions I have gone back in the past decade, I have avoided Mass except for funerals, where I would attend out of respect to the dead (my grandfather and father) but not participate in Communion.

Once we move back there, I must make a choice. I can either attend a Mass I feel nothing for, and risk offending the truly devout that are there, by my very presence. Or I can not attend, and run the risk of hurting my 84 year old, very Catholic grandmother.

Pagans and Christians alike, what do you recommend? I don't want to hear about how I need to accept Jesus. I want to know how to protect her feelings without compromising my beliefs.

I've always wanted to ask this.

I have 3 great kids. My eldest daughter won 6 scholarships, primarily based in her volunteerism in the community. She hates alcohol and drugs as does her sister. Her teacher told me she "modeled compassion" for others. Her sister is very caring and her issue is displaced africans. She volunteers and literally gave every dime she has for "Invisible Children" which helps those less fortunate in Uganda. Little brother Jack is a philanthropist. For two years he volunteered helping an autistic boy, who was 4 years younger than him. Teaching him how to interact with others, etc.

And yet --- all of my children have come home in tears many times. Told they are going to hell. They acutally are very honest people but they have learned to lie about their most basic beliefs because "I don't believe in god" would kill them socially in a school.

Why is this? My kids are so great and...they shouldn't have to endure this. They wouldn't make your kids

Atheists, we don't believe in the Invisible Friend, however, if we did and we had eternity to spend, how would you spend yours? As some of you have seen my other responses, I would have some hot men, they should be former Mensa members, and I want lots of chocolate too.

If the Resurrection actually happened, and Jesus had a message for the world that this would be a confirmation of, then _why_ did he only appear before his disciples, whose testimony was bound to be dismissed as biased?

Use short words and simple sentences, please. Remember, I'm stupid.

I'm very curious to know how regional geography and/or culture affect the daily foods people eat.

I personally ate some Catonese style fish, cabbage, rice and shrimp. I'm from Philadelphia, USA and I'm Chinese.

Muslims wash their privates after they use the restroom with water and also they use the toilet paper. Then they wash their hands with soap. This is the Sunnah of prophet Muhammed. But it also prevents disease. Now I think that is unique to their religion, because I never hear of other religions doing this. Do you do this?

he couldn't have come back from the dead? I'm no doctor, but when a human dies-that is it. How did he do it?
If your answer is 'god did it' then I would have to ask you why he messed around causing a massive flood when he can control life anyway? Makes no sense whatsover for an all knowing being does it?
